"Mr. Castillo." Levi stood up from his chair. He turned to me and held out his open hand, offering me a way up. "Come on," he said gently. "Let us go get this sponsorship." I looked at his open palm, then looked at his strong, calm face. My legs felt like soft jelly, but I reached out and took his hand anyway. He pulled me up to my feet. We walked across the marble floor together, stepped inside the open elevator car, and turned around as the heavy steel doors slid shut, sealing us inside.
