My Quadruplet Step Brothers are My Mates

My Quadruplet Step Brothers are My Mates

This has to be discreet because I didn’t want any body to catch wind of it. Some hours before midnight, I made my way to the library, hoping that I would stumble on another book that would give more context and insight on what it means to be mates to four people. Just as I walked through each aisle of the library, my eyes shifted to the ancient library that was only some foot away from where I stood. I had a little history with that one…not a pleasant one thought. My curious lifestyle started ever since I was a child and it was not surprising that I once made my way to the ancient library. It was totally different from the normal library that I knew because of the type of books it carried. I

The Alpha's Bargain

The Alpha's Bargain

I should return to my chambers, should maintain the careful schedule that kept me safely within established boundaries. Instead, I found myself drawn deeper into the library's maze of shelves, following an instinct I couldn't name toward sections I hadn't yet explored. The books grew older as I moved toward the back of the room, their bindings more fragile, their subjects increasingly esoteric. Here were volumes on subjects that academic institutions would dismiss as superstition—treatises on lycanthropy, studies of lunar influences on human behavior, collections of spells that claimed to bind souls to animal forms. Research, I thought with grim humor. Someone has been doing very specific re

My mate's betrayal

My mate's betrayal

“I've visited libraries before, but this library is amazing.” “We have books of all kinds,” I commented proudly. "The library was an ancient construction of the first Alpha. It is said that he was a very learned man who wanted to give people access to as much knowledge as possible. He created a secure, magical place that can only be accessed by those who are allowed or who I invite." Selene looked at me with raised eyebrows. “This place is magical?” she asked incredulously. “Yes, it was a fortified shelter during the war; many lives were saved here,” I said serenely. "And it's where everyone comes. Usually, the more subway levels there are, the more they end up being used by hormonal teenage

My Luna is a witch; Illegitimate prince

My Luna is a witch; Illegitimate prince

Just then, an idea hit Azalea's thinking the moment she saw some stacks of very old books in another separated session. They were arranged from the floor all the way to the top, that it even looked so discouraging to pick a book from there. They were like books that had stayed for too in the library, and were not also easy to get rid of because of its ancient knowledge. Not really anything of interest to the new generation. "I think we might probably find something relating to witches there," Azalea nudged Ayden who was lost, looking at other books that also seemed to catch his interest.

Entangled with the Lycans of Pawxlore High

Entangled with the Lycans of Pawxlore High

I paused at the water fountain near my destination to have a drink, before stepping into the large hall that was labeled Pawxlore’s library. The school wasn’t playing games when it came to books and it’s werewolf culture to always have a library in your home. According to Professor Norton, it was traditional many years ago because it was believed to ward off demons. Demons wouldn’t want to prey on a creature that stores books for knowledge as they are harder to manipulate. Sounds stupid, right? Most of History is silly.

Black Ridge Academy

Black Ridge Academy

The basement of the library was where the academy kept the oldest, most forbidden texts—books about ancient bloodlines, forbidden elements, and the history of the High Council. Lisa pulled a small, glowing magical stone from her pocket, casting a soft purple light over the dusty room. The floor was made of old, uneven stone blocks, covered in decades of dirt. "Over here," Lisa whispered, rushing toward a far corner behind a stack of rotting wooden crates. She dropped to her knees and began clearing away the dust with her hands. I knelt down beside her, my heart hammering against my ribs. The burning in my chest was growing hotter, reacting to the old, heavy energy of the basement. "What are

Half Blood Shadow

Half Blood Shadow

The white void shattered. Suddenly, Anna was standing in a cathedral-like structure that defied the laws of geometry. Shelves of obsidian and bone rose into a sky of swirling ink, filled with millions of scrolls, jars of memories, and weeping books. It was the Great Library of the Sunder, the repository of everything the McKinnley line had ever taken or lost.

The Lycan King and the Feral Twin

The Lycan King and the Feral Twin

Theirs was a unique responsibility, a sacred duty passed down through generations—to house the world's knowledge in a repository of books, a treasure trove of wisdom and moonlit lore. The Nightshade Keepers' library was a sanctuary of enlightenment, known throughout the lycan kingdom as the Repository of the Moon's Wisdom. It was a place where scholars, sages, and seekers of knowledge would journey from far and wide, drawn by the allure of its boundless wisdom. In its depths lay volumes that chronicled the mysteries of the moon, the history of their kind, and the secrets of lunar magic.

Can an Evil Lady Change

"Ah. Well, that's not what's important. Do you or do you not know of any libraries outside the Duchy Brother?" "Ha-ha...it's fun as always to tease you lil sis. There are just two libraries in the Kennedy Empire... The first one is a library that can be accessed by nobles. The second one is the Royal Library which can be accessed by ones acquainted with the Royal Family. But if you are the one going, I suggest you to go to the Royal Library." explained Louis "The families acquainted with the Royal Family...?" asked Rubia "To be more specific the houses Charleston and Leonne are the ones that are closest to the Royal Family."

Love Without Time Limits (AC2)

Love Without Time Limits (AC2)

But that changed the next morning again as soon as I found out that he received a letter from Laelia. We stopped at another city center for lunch and I found a wooden building that was the town's library. It was filled with wax tablets, papyrus scrolls, and parchments with ancient knowledge. I found several scrolls that I could read, so I started looking for stuff on gemstones and their magical properties; mythical beasts, and how to tackle them; curses and remedies; how to make sorceress answer questions without posing riddles; and so on. Oh, how I miss Wikipedia! "These must be returned within a fortnight." The librarian told me, eyeing my huge pile of collection suspiciously.

This book is my kind of escape. The sequence of events and lifestyle are surprisingly accurate, the story is interesting at the same time with something new coming up every chapter. I definitely encourage well thought out books like this. Keep up the good work!
