Light Blue Masquerade Masks Novels & Stories

Each attendee is directed to select a mask from the counters, setting the stage for an evening of mystery and style. Emma, in harmony with her dress, opts for a captivating red mask adorned with a long black feather cascading down its left side. The mask, veiling almost her entire face, adds an intriguing aura, yet her distinctive emerald eyes remain an unmistakable identifier for those attempting to distinguish her amidst the masked crowd.

I let the mask protect me, showing the world nothing while my heart thundered against my ribs. Later, the stifling air of the court became too much. I sought the sanctuary of the royal gardens, the moonlight turning the white roses into ghosts. I thought I was alone until I heard the soft crunch of grass. "Your Majesty," his voice came—a low, gravelly murmur that seemed to vibrate in the very marrow of my bones. "The moon tonight is particularly beautiful." I didn't turn. I kept my eyes fixed on the silver orb in the sky, the ivory of my mask reflecting its cold light. "Beauty is often a trap, Rodwar."

The only problems were; this was a masquerade Ball and everyone was dressed in their finest; and everyone was wearing complicated masks so no one could be recognized at first glance. I wore an aqua blue ball gown with silver threading and a silver mask to go with it. I’d tied my golden hair in an elegant French bun at the back of my head and used a silver comb with blue gemstones to secure the bun in place. Several tendrils of hair fell around my face and the only jewelry I was wearing were a blue teardrop necklace that Jonathan had gifted me this morning and my daylight bracelet. Jonathan wore a black suit and pants with a blue shirt underneath. His mask was set in black with glittering blu

Perhaps he had asked Mia for my size, and she had been able to give my size to him accurately. The corset was exquisitely embroidered with silver, feeling both luxurious and surprisingly comfortable. The layers of tulle cascading from the waist were simply magnificent—a sea of shimmering fabric that swirled around my feet. The off-the-shoulder style, with the delicate ruffled details, was so flattering. And the long velvet gloves, the perfect shade of dark blue to complement the dress, added a touch of mystery. But the real showstopper? The mask. It was a deep blue colour, it mirrored the dress. Also it was adorned with shimmering jewels and a dramatic plume of feathers, making me feel like

CHAPTER ELEVEN “Amara, you forgot about this.” Amethyst handed me a mask. The mask would only cover half of the wearer’s face, including the forehead and the area surrounding the eyes. It was a masquerade mask. It was shaped like those butterfly wings. It was crafted from silver, with crystal beads designed at its corners and a black sun with four rays at the upper center. It has a lace at both ends. “Who owns it?” Amethyst asked curiously.

I needed full anonymity. “Yes,” I said again, firmer this time. “But tonight, I want one.” She hesitated for a moment, then nodded. “All right. A mask it is. What color?” Anything but red, nearly slipped from my lips. But that may give away too much and leave room for questions. “What colors are available?” “Five. Blue, green, white, yellow, and red.” Blue was always Moira’s courtesan signature identity, both in Pleasur’io and now in Naked Den. Taking it would be like impersonating her, and the very idea left a sour taste in my mouth.

They wore a mask, so they wouldn’t attract attention while getting inside the location. Rieska wore a swirling black gown accented with silver, her dark mask sculpted like a raven, covering the upper half of her face. She let her hair flowed loosely with small braids on each side of her ear. And Zenus in his black armor and mask of a black panther. His twin swords were resting on his back. In comparison, Eleand chose a high collar black jacket with gold embroidery. His delicate gold mask carved a dragon’s head. He was confident in his faerie form minus the wings.

Similarly, he wore a mask that was similar to the other Night Empire warriors with the only difference being the silver and purple detailing that signified his position. The face mask was a three-dimensional Dragon face made of light weight, highly impact resistant metal, black in colour with its features detailed in purple and silver, where the only exposed part was the eyes; the area of the mouth had a mechanical contraption that moved with the jaw movement and also allowed intake of food and drinks without having to be taken off. The other peculiarity of the mask was that it was fastened at the neck and could only be taken off by the fingerprint of the owner or his superior from the Night

Delilah It is the day of the Masquerade party, and I'm nervous. I have my outfit and my decorative mask ready to go. I chose a dark blue lacy half mask that matched my outfit. My long brown hair is curled and resting on my side. "You look amazing!" Mandy gushed. I smiled. "Well, since we are both singles, do you think we have a chance with the Stanley brothers?" Katie asked Mandy. "Sure, why not? It doesn't hurt to try," Mandy laughed.

"Do you take this woman to be your wife, to stand by her through thick and thin?" "I do," the man said, his voice muffled by the mask. The guests whispered in awe. Howard Larson, the Larson family's big shot, was so in love with me that he would not let a bad cold stop our big day. He did not want to disappoint me. "Wait a second." The man's eyes darted around, and his forehead was dotted with sweat. I smiled and asked, "Howard, you're looking a bit pale. Too busy with the wedding to remember your medicine?"
