I looked a mess, a horrible, weeping mess. My eyes were swollen and my face looked incredibly red at the cheeks but pale everywhere else. I had cried out all the energy I had and it showed in the dulled nature of my eyes right then. There was no happiness within me, only hopelessness at a situation that could never go right for me.

It made me want to cry for reasons I couldn’t quite explain. I blinked rapidly, trying to push the tears back. This was not the time to fall apart. But the more I tried to hold it together, the harder it became. And when I dared to look at Lucian again, I noticed something that caught me completely off guard. His eyes, usually so sharp and intense, were soft and glistening with unshed tears.

Even the memory of that night tortured her. “But before he pushed me off the stairs, he looked right into my eyes.” Her eyes were full of tears. “Even though he was wearing a mask, I could see his eyes in the dark, they were gray.” She finished, her eyes staring up at me. I frowned, “Gray?” I asked. What was weirder was that most of my men had blue or gray eyes… She nodded, another tear slipped from her eye. I walked up to her, lifting my hand to pull her closer or wipe those tears off her cheeks. It was so fucking annoying to watch her cry.

Ivy's eyes never left his face, and Matt could see the empathy and understanding in her gaze. As Matt finished his story, Ivy's eyes began to well up with tears. At first, they were just a sparkle in the corner of her eyes, but as the moments ticked by, they grew into a sheen that threatened to spill over. Matt's gaze was fixed on Ivy's face, his expression softening as he watched her. He could see the emotions swirling inside her, the pain and the sadness, and it touched something deep within him. I don't know anymore. Tears uncontrollably rolls down from my eyes as joy filled his eyes. "Wow. You have a pretty cry. You're eyes are blank but it's tearing." He said as he shove my face sidewards. I looked at the bloody ground as I let myself cry. I don't know what to feel anymore.

“It hurts.” It doesn’t feel like it’s been an hour since I’ve been crying for no apparent reason. The fried rice in front of me is already full of tears. I feel exhausted after draining my tears. My breath is gasping, my throat feels dry, and I swelled my eyes. My vision became a little blurry because my eyes still pooled warm tears in my eyelids. It’s always the same as before; pain. My eyelids closed, and the last drops of my tears slid smoothly down my cheeks.

"In this place." He raised his eyes. His eyebrows were as sharp as a blade, his eyes still carrying cold laziness. If I hadn't witnessed him crying, I wouldn't have thought that this man had just shed tears. Just look closely; you will see his eyes are red; there are still a few drops of water on his eyelashes, contrasting with the colorful fireworks outside; in his eyes, there is only a single black color.

You can't just stand here doing nothing while Nicole is dissolving into tears right in front of you. After what feels like ages, Nicole raises her head to meet my gaze. I immediately search through her face, trying to figure traces of any injury. Thank god! She is fine. My vision then slowly settles on her eyes as I look at her. I see her eyes being bloodshot and puffy as big fat tears roll from them. Fuck! She looks really in awful shape. I curl my fists in anger, looking down at her sobbing figure. I am going to destroy that bloody thing that has bothered her this terribly!

Why else would my eyes be glowing? “Hey wolfie you there,” I said in my head, but no response followed. Instead, my eyes turned back to their hazel brown. I ended up in tears again. I need to know who the sound belongs to. I strain to see, but there's nothing to see, only the oppressive darkness. The tears continue to echo, relentless in their sorrow. I need to find the source of those tears to understand and to offer comfort. With a slow, deliberate effort, I force my eyelids to open, welcoming the faintest hints of light. And there, before me, are emerald-green eyes. For a moment, I can't help but be lost in their depths. Beautiful eyes. However, as beautiful as they are, I notice they're red, puffy, and burdened by grief and exhaustion.
