Moments and Memories

Moments and Memories

**** ~ Flashback ~ Before heading to the library, Evelina and Rissa are on their way to the opposite end of the class to the library. Evelina walks and she stops from her path, she just remembers that there was something she forgot. Seeing Evelina's reaction stop, Rissa asks her. "Eve, what's wrong? Is there anything you left in the classroom?" "No, I forgot something. That actually, I wanted to return the book in the library," she replied.

Mafia Men V - Marco's Vengeance

Mafia Men V - Marco's Vengeance

I was suddenly tempted to ruin the perfection of her skin with the harsh touch of my fingers, or perhaps even with my teeth against the side of her throat. It's strange how your head can forget things. I gazed into her eyes, glimmering from the alcohol, a wide grin stretching across her face, and I could barely recall Amy's features. She was once so deeply etched in my mind, her absence dominating my thoughts, but now her memory seemed hazy, fading into the background. I struggled to remember her smile, the sound of her voice, or anything at all... As I stared into Lilianna's eyes, Amy's memories grew fainter, like distant echoes fading into silence.

I loved the previous books of this writer so my expectations were high. And I'm not disappointed. Sometimes truly dark, but with enough 'easygoing' chapters to catch your breath. And with twists and turns to make you wanna bingeread.

Lingering Hatred

Lingering Hatred

Things were becoming more interesting now. … I decided to make Mom's upcoming 60th birthday memorable. She had me later in life and went through many hardships. My family also helped out a lot when I married Theo. I contacted several hotels, but none of them had any rooms available. I had no choice but to go in person, making reservations for Mom's favorite dishes while I was there. I wasn't expecting to run into Tiffany and her husband in the hotel. I could hear everything clearly from the next room through the door. "500 thousand, not a penny less! Otherwise, I'll send these slutty photos of yours to old flings!"

His Forbidden Truth

His Forbidden Truth

His mother pulled him close, whispering comfort, but her own voice trembled. “Echoes,” Sophia murmured. “Every anchor echoes louder the more it’s touched.” Raven joined them, a tablet in hand. “The resonance is measurable. Data shows exponential amplification. The more circles gather, the more intense the recall becomes. If we spread this lattice unchecked, the weight will multiply.” Sophia’s throat tightened. “We meant to preserve memory. What if we’ve built monuments of suffering instead?” ---

Bride of the Mafia cripple

Bride of the Mafia cripple

> “Some histories are not written in books. They are kept in bodies.” The taste of the vault lingered in Leora’s mouth like smoke. No matter how much she rinsed or how hot the water ran in the shower, the flavor remained. Dust. Ash. Memory. She’d scrubbed herself raw, fingers trembling as she dragged the towel across her skin. But it wasn’t just grime she wanted to remove—it was something deeper, something coiled in her blood. Something ancient.

Losing Me, Memory by Memory

Losing Me, Memory by Memory

I stared blankly at the chat history on the tablet. A tingling numbness crept over my scalp, and I couldn't help but tremble all over as I read the lines over and over again. I still couldn't believe it was real. Yelena: "Fabe, I can't wait any longer. I want to be with you out in the open. I don't want to keep sneaking around like this." Fabian: "Darling, just give me a little more time. As long as she takes the medicine for a few months, she'll start to lose her memories from the past seven years. I'll coax her into divorcing me then."

Lyra, His Second Chance Mate

Lyra, His Second Chance Mate

And yet not enough to escape. His jaw tightened. He hated that thought. Hated it with a fury that had survived thousands of years. Because he remembered the chains. Not clearly, only fragments of memories he has. Images shove in front of his eyes : golden spears, spilled blood, seven figures standing in judgment, a sentence they shouted, a feeling of betrayal so deep it still hurt... Then darkness. Endless darkness. The memory shattered before he could grasp it. As it always did. He closed his eyes. Nothing showed up. It was gone. As many times before. His memories had become ghosts. Appearing when they wished. Leaving whenever they pleased.

The Merman, My Man

The Merman, My Man

Unbelievable. Nonetheless, my eyes were drawn utterly to the half-mermaid. However, even as I couldn’t resist reaching out to touch her body, all I touched was air—that body appeared to be a mere projection, flickering on my touch. “Linda. That’s a remnant image of your body that lingers in my memory. It doesn’t actually exist.” “Eh? Then why do I see it?” “I saw you die, and hence stored a token of your existence within my own body. That is what you see—your past self projected from my memory, and what you would look like in the future.”

Lot of erotica, but very captivating and a unique style. Very original story that for a change isn’t about werewolf alpha’s or ceo’s. I love how the author produces a really in dept plot which is not predictable at all. Great author, great work!
Courtney Lee
Author does an excellent job of steamy scenes, although it would be nice to read the male lead’s point of view. Female lead, Linda can be a bit frustrating, but keep in mind that she’s viewing male lead and mermen from a sheltered academic viewpoint.
