Logan approaches the cashier and I follow behind him, but I’m too mesmerized by looking around to watch where I’m going. I bump into him when he stops, but he only looks briefly to see if I’ve regained my balance. I clear my throat. His eyes are always so cold that I want to run every time he looks at me. “Nice to see you again, Logan.
