I took this chance to get some beauty sleep. Sometime in the middle of the night, I woke up to an empty bed. I glanced at the clock and saw that it was six in the morning. I groaned, Lorenzo must have again fallen asleep in the living room, holding Aurora in his arms. He really needs to stop doing that. Yawning, I slowly stretched my arms out as I rolled out of my warm and cosy bed, feeling oh so lazy. Making my way to the hallway, I paused to listen when I heard gentle murmurs in the air.

I just wanted to sleep until this version of my life was over. I woke up to the sound of shadows. The room was bathed in the deep, purplish-gray of twilight. I checked the wall clock: 7:00 PM. I had slept for nearly seven hours, a heavy, dreamless slumber that left me feeling groggy and disconnected from my own limbs. The Lodge was quiet, but as the fog of sleep cleared, I realized it wasn't empty. There were voices coming from the living room. Low, rhythmic voices that hummed through the floorboards.

Wolves sleep in a heap to remember they aren’t alone. “Teeth,” I said. Four pairs of feet ran down the hall, then back. I tucked Lily first, Daisy second, Hyden next, Harvey last. By the time the blanket settled over him, Daisy was already breathing evenly. Hyden clutched my sweater hem, Lily’s lashes were still, and Harvey’s eyes were fluttering. Luther stood in the doorway, hands open, empty. “Don’t,” I said when he took a step closer. “I wasn’t going to touch them.”

Lisa and Hazel waited patiently for the men to get back at them,,they are both very scared but it’s only obvious in Lisa’s face while Hazel kept a straight face. It was in the middle of the night,, Hazel have been watching Lisa as she slept off. She keep on watching her since she could not sleep,,what if they come back?? She breath out and stood up,she continue moving round the room nervously when suddenly she discovered an opening in the room,,she immediately went out of the opening slowly.

Sophie’s POV I woke up with my heart already racing. The mansion was too quiet, the kind of silence that felt heavy with warning. Lucas slept peacefully in the crib beside our bed, his tiny chest rising and falling steadily. But even in sleep, faint golden-red sparks danced across his skin. The power inside him was growing stronger every single day.

" Haven quickly laid back down , sjutting her eyes tight, pretending to still be asleep. Lucious walked into the room, a tray of food in his hands as he eagerly walked over to his mate. His eyes were fixed on the figure who could barely be seen from here. His mate looked so tiny sleeping on the bed , she was barely visible. Apart from her small head which plopped out from the duvet, her entire body was hidden in such away that anyone who entered would probably think she was part of the beddings. He walked till he reached the bed and gently dropped the food on the bedside table. Lucious quietly sat beside her, using his hands to move away some of her silver hair , covering her forehead.

Hugging a small frog plushie, she pouted cutely and said, "Mommy, I want to sleep with you." Hilda happily picked Luna up and went into the bedroom. Then, she placed Luna on the bed between her and Nathan. Nathan was sleeping deeply. Even so, he noticed the two of them coming in. Rolling over he held Luna in his arms as he slept. Hilda studied her husband and her daughter, a tender and loving emotion washing over her.

Morning light spills in through the window, soft enough that it doesn’t hurt. I stay still for a moment. Breathing. Listening. Then I turn my head. Lucas is on the floor beside the bed, stretched out on his side in his wolf form. His fur is dark against the wood, one ear tilted back like he fell asleep halfway through listening for danger. His chest rises and falls in an easy rhythm. One paw rests near the leg of the bed, close enough that it feels intentional, like even sleeping he needs to know where I am. A smile spreads across my face before I can stop it.

Louisa's POV Lying on a giant, super comfortable bed in a super spacious bedroom, I felt that I was floating in an ocean of cotton. This whole room smelt like lavender and pine, which made me relaxed and dozy. The bedroom door wasn't closed, so I could hear the conversation between the doctor and Lucas.

Louise muttered and sat down. She didn't sleep well last night. In the morning, she went to the hospital and the police station. Although she had slept in Gu Linbei's car for a while. But she still felt sleepy. This was the hospital's VIP ward. The environment was comfortable, and there were not many people. It was quiet. Louise ate enough in the restaurant. Now that she sat down, she couldn't help feeling sleepy again. She yawned and fell asleep again. Gu Linbei strode over in surprise.
