CHAPTER 157 Lucifer adjusted the cuffs of his black shirt, standing before the full-length mirror, without blinking. His reflection stared back at him in a cold, dangerous, and composed way. Today was the day he had waited for. It was the beginning of Giovanni’s ruin. The beginning of retribution. And the day he sees his family. He combed back his hair, slowly. Like a barber, before the big chop. He was so invested in his looks thst he didn't hear the first knock come.

Belzer laughed. Lucifer got mad even more right after Belzer underestimated him. But I just can’t stand watching them fighting in front of my sight. “Lucifer! Don’t mind me! Just kill this st*pid demon!” I screamed. “Are you out of your mind?! I can’t kill you!” Lucifer’s eyes became burning red and it was gleaming in the darkness. “I’m an irresponsible wife! His face was a mask of disapproval, eyes narrowed and lips pressed into a thin line. I felt a flicker of defiance ignite in my chest.

With a yell, I propelled her body into the air, holding her suspended as I bent her fingers into themselves. Her claws dug into her palms in the process, making blood flow freely.

I told Alec who was trying hard to keep his anger in check but it seems he was beyond angry with his pup for keeping finding his mate from him.
