While they bickered on what and what to say to Mark, Lucien arrived at the library with a food basket that seemed very heavy. "Good morning, everyone. "I think the Alpha said that you should call him," he told me, and I nodded. "Okay," I answered, and then he left, but not without whispering something to Jax and Josh. Seven days left.” The man gave a commanding nod. “On that day, I’ll hold the General Alpha meeting. I’ll announce my new Luna, and everything will finally be over.”

I trail off, still not understanding the meaning of her statement. “Today is the day he finds his mate!” She squeals. “Which means also-” The date stands out to me for some reason, and when I figure it out, I stop and my eyes widen in realization. Today is the first of October. The day Alpha Xavier will find his mate, our Luna. It is also an important day for me.
