What are you doing?" Full-blown panic. Maggie was on the floor, crying hard. Blood streaked down her wrist. "Just leave me alone. No one cares about me anyway. If dying makes Miss Saun stop hating me, at least I'll have peace..." Vincent ripped the broken glass from her grip, pressing on the cut.

She grinned and all the anger in me evaporated. "Why the hell does her smile affects me" I thought frowning. "Good day sir" the ice cream vendor greeted me and I nodded "how much ice cream did she consumed" I asked and his next word shock to me, well not that I'm too shocked because I expected it after she ate five plates of pasta and three cans of Coca-Cola. I paid him and dragged away. MELISSA'S POV

A reassuring light dispelled the darkness. Margje threw off the covers and felt the coolness of the outside air on her warm, sweaty legs. She got up and walked to the window, which was wide open, and let in the early morning chill. Slowly her breathing calmed down. That dream again! That nightmare! She went to the bathroom and turned on the light. She could still see the traces of panic on her face and gave another deep sigh. She turned on the tap and dabbed her face with the cold water. A sip of water from a tall glass and she was completely grounded again. She took the glass to her bed and set it on the gray bedside table next to her alarm clock. Four in the morning!

But she didn't let it affect her mood she brought her gaze back to the physician, smiling at him. "Then I am under your care." The physician bowed in front of her. She watches him give her a bow of courtesy. "Why are you doing this?" He said, kneeling in front of Morrigan. He reached for her feet and slowly pulling out the shards of glass on her soles. Morrigan looked at the canopy of her bed. Pondering of her goals. "I will play along with them, and then strike at them when they are the most vulnerable. I will make them pay for what they did. From my uncle to his ministers who remained silent, letting me be tainted by their lies."

Maggie responded right once and bravely stepped deeper into the room, at least to reach the desk to set down her glasses because holding them for such a long time had given her wrist aches. “Hospital! What sort of work does she have in the hospital??!” Liam emphasized, glancing at Maggie.

The flute brought back unpleasant memories once again, but I pushed it to the back of my mind as I greeted her. Maggie wore a blue halter dress that reached her knees and flared at the waist. It had tiny crystals all over that glittered in the light. Stunning, but not overly done. I would’ve thought that the color wouldn’t have matched her flaming hair, but in fact it did and she looked just gorgeous. “Hey.” I smiled at her as she reached me. “Thanks for coming.” “Wouldn’t have missed it for the world.” Maggie grinned at me. “I’ve always heard the MacGyver’s gave a stunning party. Oh, I heard you’ll be breaking your seal today!”

I say in horror. "You don't have a choice. They will never believe that I didn't help you leave. You have to," Maggie says. She looks around my depressing room and finds a glass. Maggie slams it against the wall, it shatters enough for her to hold a piece like a dagger. She places it in my hand. "Now, stab me. Don't hesitate. Just do it." "I can't!" I say, shaking my head and drop the glass on the floor. Maggie pulls me into hug before releasing me.

I also dressed up nicely, setting the mood for the drama I am about to display. We danced and drank at the party like we didn't a fuck about the world anymore. I wasn't trying to get her drunk, she is a witch, she would still recall everthing that happened after she got drunk. I already paid a waiter to help me with the job, in a few minutes, he arrived holding an heavy tray which was filled with empty glass cups, all of a sudden, the tray dropped and glasses splashed, Maggie got cut on her knee, it's good she wore a short dress.

Maggie disrupted my thoughts. She looked worriedly at my face, and before I could nod my assent, she was already coming back from the fridge bringing a tall glass of cold water. I grimaced when she put the glass in front of me. For the nth time, Maggie keeps forgetting that I no longer drink cold water. I used to, when we used to date, but not anymore. Subtly, I rose from my executive chair and went to the pantry to get myself a mug of hot water.

My eyes changed colour as Abeloth pushed forward and Maggie screamed. “She doesn’t know,” Abeloth said retreating back. “Fuck,” Felix muttered under his breath. “Please don’t hurt me,” Maggie whimpered. “Maggie, what are you talking about?” I asked her. “Your eyes …” “What about my eyes? How drunk are you Maggie?” I asked her with a frown. “I don’t know, I thought I saw … they were … I don’t feel so good,” she said and turned sideways as she vomited.
