I said smiling. This time the brown haired girl answered. "We've just heard so much about you we couldn't wait any longer!" She said smiling and now giving me a hug. "Is that so?" I said turning around and smiling at a very embarrassed Gilinsky. "All good things don't worry, oh I'm Molly by the way." She said smiling. "Nice to meet you Molly." I said as I followed them into the kitchen. "Jack!" Mrs. Gilinsky screeched as she ran into his arms. After that 30 second hug she finally let go then screeched Johnson's name. Like my god we get it, he's here no need to scream.

She dialed a number she knew off head and called. "It takes great talent and skill to veil great talent and skill. Little Lotus, how is the brighter side of the world?" A crooked old female voice answered the phone. "Only psychopaths and manipulators can achieve hiding their talents and skills Elder Hoshi. Everything is going as planned thank you for asking. Oh, but a Hian Ji attacked me at my home and knows everything about me. I thought I died and my existence was erased with you and the other Elders' help. What's going on?"

I was slowly walking round the table while they followed me with their eyes. “What does that have to do with the fact that you’re late,” the GM of their company stood up to me. “What’s your name?” I asked the man who caught my attention earlier and he replied with “Derek” so I stopped in my tracks. “Derek, you’re obviously new so you wouldn’t know but for your sake, I will move further since they’ve decided to live in denial,” “15 million dollars suddenly went missing from my company’s records,” I stopped to look at their already uncomfortable GMs face.

Magnolia asked with a shaky voice. “Sometimes—magic fades.” Daniel pulled her into a hug. “We will find a way to get into that room, I promise.” Magnolia nodded against his chest. “We have to,” she mumbled.

Miller with empty eyes and said, in a voice devoid of all humanity: "The cracks are not random. They are doors. And we are the ones who knocked." Then the body collapsed into grey dust. "Jack." Dr. Miller's voice on the private medical channel was shaking. "Captain Vex is gone. And before she died, the mirror copy said something. She said the cracks are doors. Intentional. Someone is creating them." The compass needle snapped to a new bearing. Not the Bridge. Not the Figure. Outward. Through the ceiling, through the atmosphere, past the planetary shield, toward the forty-seven blind spots that Aaliyah had detected.

Logan's head sank underground in the blink of an eye. "Die!" Fallen Mole exclaimed in the manhole, barely concealing his excitement. Before Logan fell into the hole, Fallen Mole had put his custom-made ring blade in place. His ring blade was a hollow circle that could be constricted. The blade was now at the level of Logan's neck. There's a decorative pattern that looks like small eye holes running through the posts. “What are these?” I ask my finger circling the hole in the wall. Marquis turns to look at what I’m staring at as he lets out a chuckle. “Murder holes,” he turns, carrying on walking. What murder holes? Why do they need them? Who is attacking them all the way up here? I stand there staring at the hole when I hear Marquis stop, feeling his eyes burning into me. “Come Kara,” I nod, creeping up the stairs.

Thinking she was just seeing things, Haven stepped closer and using her hands, she moved some of the vines on the wall. And there it was. A— hole? Haven blinked her eyes in confusion her eyes landing on what looked like a small hole, large enough to fit in a person’s hand. It was hidden carefully between the vines and leaves that Haven counted herself lucky to have seen it. But what’s a hole even doing here? She wondered. ‘ It doesn’t concern you miss, can we go already?’ Kira said in a tone laced with impatience. Haven ignore her as her hands moved to touch the hole.
