*** GIANNA *** Back to reality. As soon as the plane landed, I felt the change. All day, I've been avoiding thinking about this, about going back to my real life, but I guess there was no escaping it now. Although I sat in the car with the Russo family, I already felt the loss. The weekend is one I'll store away in my mind for those rainy days to come because I'm sure I'll never have another like it.

Relief and joy washed over me, and I couldn't wait to share the news with Ashley. "Congratulations, Nina!" she exclaimed when I told her. "I knew you could do it!" Her words meant the world to me. With a job secured and a place to stay, I felt like I was finally getting my life back on track. It wasn't easy, but I was proud of how far I had come. Working at the café was a new experience, but I enjoyed it. The customers were friendly, and I quickly found my place behind the counter. Each day brought new challenges and opportunities to learn, and I embraced them with enthusiasm.

It breaks down, crumbling to pieces, and I flinch, grabbing the note with shaking hands. Reading it carefully, my hands tighten on the crumpled parchment:

Don't waste your time on someone else's man." I turned and left. Outside the cafe, the sunlight was bright. The comments exploded. [The villainess repaid resentment with kindness???] [I'm crying. "No! She just popped up in some obscure landing in Alaska. Who dafuq lives in Alaska?" "Not now, Colt!" I read over his shoulder while the others turned to their own devices to start digging. "Seems like the right age and everything but nothing else to go on." "Yeah, but that place, places like that aren't easy to come by. It says here that the land out there cost a pretty penny. Even if they're mostly living off the grid." "I'm not surprised. Her mother left her a shit ton of money so she could move around as much as she wants. She can live off the grid if she wants to; she doesn't have to work a day in her life."

And I wish I can do something to make their lives better. There is absolutely nothing interesting in my life as of the moment. Seriously, I am not pathetic to go after Samuel. I don't think that I need a fucking love life. My life has been great without him. I just have to focus my energy in something more productive with my life. I decided to work on a new book and I think it's going to be great. And I think I am out for fucking blood. I want to write a story about a stalker who kills people he thinks is going to ruin his perfect love story. This would book will not be a walk in the park so I need help from my editor.
