Chapter Four “This is Elaine, Alpha Jacob’s daughter.” He said with a warm smile. I stayed silent but deep down my heart was erupting the flames of sadness. “I am Freya, Alexander’s wife.” She said with a warm smile stretching out her hand for a handshake. I didn’t need the goddess help to know that she was sounding the alarm that he belongs to her. I forced a smile but I had no time to accept the handshake, her hands were suspended in the air. This may seem so rude, but at this point I didn’t care.

Beta Liu's Point of View: I couldn't quite wrap my head around why my sister Danciana felt the need to call me out of the blue, her voice laden with urgency, and inquire if Aurelia had returned. It had been a substantial stretch of time since Aurelia, Alpha Dante's mate, had fled our pack. The very notion of her return seemed absurd, and Danciana's words left me incredulous. She mentioned something about hearing rumors of Aurelia's possible reappearance, and that in itself sounded preposterous. But the doubt had taken root, and I found myself compelled to investigate, despite my reservations.

Why can't you do that .” Lucas said very nervously, as he walked down the road away from the palace, while his cheek was swollen from a strong slap.

By now Lucia had rolled down the bed falling onto the floor, the darkness that was illuminated by the moon helped Lucia as she gaped her mouth with her hand looking for an escape route. "I'm done and fed up with your nonsense, tonight you'll die too." She strung out her fangs like a hawk ready to devour its prey. She brushed her hands on her makeup mirror looking for the box she had extracted earlier from the alchemist, a knife landed on the dorsal part of her hand and red ink splattered on the mirror. She saw it hanging near the window sill, where she had earlier raised the diamond heart-shaped necklaces to the flair shine of the moon. She groans in pain.

Owned by one of our Alpha friends from a neighbouring pack we find Louis and company sitting in the VIP section with a dozen bottles of Prosecco. “Blimey, I hope you witches can hold your drink?” Jeremy teases Orla and Cara. We all get chatting, sharing childhood memories, teasing Lugh about his childhood crush on Cara and how Orla isn’t sure which side she bats for. She’s a free spirit apparently. After a couple of hours I check my watch to see it is 1.45am. The girls have just lost a drinking competition again to Samantha and both Orla and Cara can barely stay awake.

Chris' PoV After the meeting in our company was done, I went to my office to carry out some paperwork which took longer than expected, by the time I have completed them and checked them off, everyone was already gone except for me and my secretary (Lyla) who helped me out to finish the day off before making our way outside. Lyla was one of my trusted worker and ally, despite how the company was full of human employees, Lyla is actually not a human but instead a witch and therefore she knows of my identity, she was also the one who looked after me when I was in pain due to my ex-mate, she also taught me about medicine and potions so I was able to make them which can help wolves at critical mo

I asked Devon, also noticing a new lady beside him, she was standing in my place as his servant. "I was just testing the new maid and since all the meals were magnificent, I decided we have them for breakfast, what do you think?". He asked but the lady's facial expressions made me know Devon made up all those words. "Wow, that's good. You never tested me like that". I replied sarcastically, tasting the first dish my hands could get to. "Introduce yourself". Devon said to the lady who rushed up to me with an innocent smile. "My name is blue and the new personal servant of the Alpha, at your service my Luna". The last word she mentioned made me and Devon stop chewing at the same time.

In the palace's huge meeting room was the king, his officials and the elders, sitting around a huge table which had stacks of written books on them. The situation at hand was pretty serious that it had everyone, in their serious mindedness thinking about the solution to tackle with. It was a matter about the rouges that had been disturbing the peace, of both wolves and elves in the village consistently. "Are those rouges not wolves that lost their identity, and have either been kicked out of their pack or left on their own free will?" One of the official, Lucia asked. She was an half wolf and half elf, but she had more of the elf blood running through her veins.
