My face was burning red when I left the TZ company. My pulse was racing, my heart pounding in anger. How dare he insults me like that? I didn't go there with a marriage proposal, but I wanted to work in his company. I've never met such a disgusting person in my whole life, and I was definitely going to make him pay for what he did to me. I was going to do anything in my power to work in that company and see if a woman could survive working there.

I don't understand why I had to act in a certain way or feel certain emotions. "You want to know how I feel Jamie?" I finally shouted at her, my anger suddenly getting the better of me as my fists clenched at me side and my canines extended from my gums. "I feel numb. I feel like there is nothing which is ever going to make me happy again. I can't cry because I haven't got the energy to be able to cry, just like I don't have the energy to hate people. I feel like I have just lost the biggest part of my life and I feel like I will never be able to smile again. Now, you want to know why I can't hate El?"

She said in the most relaxed pitch. Emotions are the best armory that creates a tremor to the soul – happy to sad or vice-versa. By this time, his almond shaped, sea rover-blued eyes are blazing with contempt and loathe. His imperious nose is flaring and his angular cheekbones are tight as a result of him gritting his teeth. Anger, disappointment, loathe, contempt and every other negative emotion is all I can see in his eyes. I whimper in pain as tears fall freely down my cheeks. He isn't only hurting me physically, but emotionally and psychologically too. Mates are supposed to protect each other, why is he hurting me instead?

It was like second nature to her. She had never liked showing her emotions openly—unless it served a purpose. As a rule, the angrier she was, the calmer her expression became. Even her smile would be as light as a breeze.
