"What it is Cole? You didn't get it?" "That why on earth are we doing this?" he yelled. "What do you mean?" "Nothing I think I get it that Maths sucks, so do you, Mr Federer.", he replied. I could sense a cautious environment around me.

Evans couldn’t see him with the camera angle and I just went about the lesson like he wasn’t there. I'm pretty sure Jace slept the entire time, it's not like he understood what I was doing on the whiteboard anyhow. I can't explain it but when I am in my zone and working out a problem, I'm just in my element and happy. Math makes sense, math is real and logical. POV: Cameron Studying with Brandon was kind of like trying to do algebra on a rollercoaster. He didn't even bother to glance at me. My heart clenched at the thought. It was hurting me. Wait what subject is this? Holy moly, it was Mathematics! Our professor keeps blabbing some numerical words I don't even know. I'm not even listening and I can not understand a single thing and I don't have a plan to understand it. So I have no choice but to wait patiently while the love of my life enjoys it. The fuck, math lovers are Aliens. Which means Acq is an Alien but a cute one. I always check my watch from time to time waiting for the bell to ring.

Classes are over.” Mitch said as he quickly packs his belongings. He’s showing us how excited he is for the game with the upperclassmen. I don’t think it’s fair though, we wouldn’t be able to beat them even if we try. “Hurry, Lexi!” He pulled my arm as soon as I wore my backpack and he quickly raced out of the room while pulling me.

Solange He nodded, swinging higher now, “yeah, finding yourself, deep stuff, bro, school’s kicking my ass too, all those classes piling up, like who needs math when you’re gonna end up flipping burgers anyway?” I laughed for real this time. It was not just a small fake laugh. It came from my chest and surprised me a little. I pushed my swing harder with my feet so I could move up to his level. The chains made that small metal sound as they moved. “Math? Try history,” I said. “It is boring as hell. Memorizing dates like my life depends on it. Kings, wars, treaties, old dead people. What’s your worst class?”

The audience sat in stunned silence, their collective bewilderment etched into the murmurs that followed. "Why?" someone finally asked. "Did she really not even make it to the college entrance exams? Not even to university?" The system displayed Subject One's dismal physics and chemistry scores, answering their questions. Truthfully, junior high physics and chemistry—though challenging—were not insurmountable. With enough grit, relentless memorization, and a dash of determination, most students could manage to scrape by. But not Subject One.

“And no, I don’t just enjoy math. But I’m pretty good at it.” I narrowed my eyes. “That sounds like something someone who secretly loves math would say.” He chuckled. “I just like solving problems. Numbers make sense. Unlike…” He trailed off, looking at me with a teasing glint in his eyes. “Unlike what?” “Unlike some people.” I rolled my eyes. “Right. Because math equations never stress anyone out.” Lucas smirked. “Only when they’re solved wrong.” He tapped my notebook. “Want me to walk you through this one?”

POV: Ava I'm staring at my Advanced Calculus textbook like it’s written in an alien language. Usually, numbers are my sanctuary. They’re logical. They don’t have messy emotions or bruised knees or smirks that make my stomach do a backflip. But today, the equations are just a blur of ink.
