Dear Enemy, You're My Mate

Dear Enemy, You're My Mate

Maya I'm sitting in front of Finn while trying hard to concentrate. A lot of time has passed since we set up camp for the night, and after hours, I'm still trying to shape-shift back into a human. Finn is whispering encouragingly. "You can do it, Maya." I take another deep breath and resist the urge to scream when my body breaks bones and forms new ones. Shape-shifting is painful, and when I'm done, I tumble forward. Finn shoves his hand underneath me and catches me in his cupped palm. The landing is soft, and a row of flutters flies through me when I stare at his bent fingers, along with blooming insecurity.

I started reading it on another app and when authored moved to this app I followed solely for this novel. The development of the characters and storyline keeps you engaged. I look forward to finishing the novel but will be sad when it’s finished.
Heather Geffken
The author has a very vivid imagination. I couldn't stop reading until the finish. I will say I might make a couple changes to the story if I could but overall one of the most original and enjoyable books I've read on the platform.

One Night Stand, I Didn't Know He Was Powerful Alpha

One Night Stand, I Didn't Know He Was Powerful Alpha

She missed Richard and was worried about him. "How is he? Is he okay, after being paralyzed for so long by that evil shape shifter?" Noreen asked. "I heard that in order for a shape shifter to survive in the form they're impersonating, their original form must be rendered permanently powerless." "Yes, that's true. Eventually, when the original body becomes too weak, the shapeshifter takes complete control of it, and they can do anything they want, until the original body dies," Edmont said. "And at that point, the shape shifter can assume that original body for as long as they need to, even after they've impersonated another body, they can return to their permanently owned body."

Tidal Souls

Tidal Souls

"Nothing—I can't swim. I can't…." He sensed her confusion, and Stralath wondered for the hundredth time—did they have the wrong target? From what the NIRL knew, the fisheri species were masters at camouflage and took shapeshifting to another level. Capable of disappearing into complex terrain or taking on the form of any species in the universe meant that Stralath was at a disadvantage. His kind—the Nukharang—had excellent shapeshifting abilities, which took years of training and needed technological assistance. An implanted device in his shoulder allowed for shape adaption—his current human form.

Shifter King

Shifter King

I promise in a pleading voice. Nothing. I bring my hand up and carefully scratch my cheek. A fine line of blood marks the area where my claw drew. Dammit. "No need to be difficult. I want the old Marinah back. She has things to do." Nothing. I growl in frustration and debate asking King for assistance. I close my eyes and picture King. Not his beast, his human side. The large muscles of his chest and arms that always hold my attention and make my mouth water. The valleys and plains of his stomach with those naughty swells that head downward past the waist of his pants. My body heats and the first ache of shifting stabs my gut sharply and makes me suck in a lungful of air. I lift my hands in

The Broken Warrior's Daughter

The Broken Warrior's Daughter

That night, I went into the forest surrounding the small town. When Maia confirmed that we were alone, I stripped off my clothes and let her begin the first shift. It was agonizing. Usually, the human form shifts at age 10 when the body isn’t fully developed. My first shift being at 18 and without any family or a mate to assist made it excruciating. After hours of my bones slowly breaking and rearranging, I lay panting on the forest floor. Maia pushes forward and picks us up off the ground. We’re wobbly, not being used to being on four paws.

Shifted Human

Shifted Human

He’s a strong wolf but he’s not even a beta. I could feel us getting closer when the smell of blood hit my nose. I pushed Rain to go as hard as she can. I could smell hers and Jennies fear swirling in the air. I saw Sairos body up ahead, he still hasn’t shifted back to his human. I slowed Rain down as we approached. The stench of the bear was everywhere. I tightened the reins on Rain and circled. Sairo was barely breathing and he couldn’t connect through the mind link. I went to dismount when I saw him. He had shifted back to his human form was running full speed at us. I drew my arrow and fired off a bow but he dodged it. Jennie was now yelling my name. The attacker getting closer, then he

Dragon's Last Hope

Dragon's Last Hope

As the last of her words left her mouth, she began to shift. The transformation was unlike any Maya had experienced before. This time, she embraced the change fully, allowing her High Dragon nature to flow through every cell of her being. Her human form dissolved in a supernova of golden light, her body expanding, elongating, transforming into something that defied conventional physics.

Blind Fate: The Beta's Regret

Blind Fate: The Beta's Regret

I focus on each individual, reaching out with my senses, trying to tap into the power that lets me see beyond the physical world. It’s exhausting work, and more than once, I feel Ruin’s supportive hand on my shoulder, steadying me. The first few attempts are met with frustration. It’s like trying to grasp smoke - elusive, fleeting. Each failure drains a bit more of my energy, leaving me feeling increasingly weak. I push on, driven by a determination to unearth the truth, to find something that could give us an advantage. Then, with one of the shapeshifters, something shifts within me. It’s as if I’ve tuned into a clearer frequency, the vision sharpening into focus. I see him, not just the fa

This novel is incredible and unique. Building on the Tarr universe, and bringing back the Horsemen, you will be left each chapter hanging for more. CJ and Ruin’s chemistry is palpable and the unique circumstances surrounding them have you cheering for them! Check out her other amazing work too!

His Doctor Luna

His Doctor Luna

“I advise you not to struggle, or you will certainly regret it.” “I have no regrets,” he said, his voice light but confident. His eyes flicked towards the wall, and I fell for his bait for following his gaze. I heard the papers flutter to the floor, but when I looked back he was gone. At the window, pecking on the glass, was a hawk. “You son-of-a-bitch,” I said, feeling sick. “You’re the reason Julian can shift. You made him like you!” The bird shrieked and tried to fly over my head. My reflexes were quicker, and it wasn’t hard to grab the shapeshifter by the spine. I threw him to the ground, and the human version of Malachi returned.

The Omega's Promise

The Omega's Promise

“I just… wondered. I mean, if it’s ever possible, what would it mean for the people involved? How would it work? And...what could be the cause?” Roxanne studied me for a long, uncomfortable moment, then let out a sigh. “It can happen, yes.” she admitted. “But only under very rare circumstances. When two shape-shifters’ energies clash and bind through intimacy, healing can surge unnaturally fast. Such healing method is extremely efficient, requiring a very tight bond between the sex mates. It’s… dangerous, though. In decades, such hasn't been known to happen. Not since the time of Gerth.” Her voice dropped lower, her expression almost warning.
