Elizabeth replied, obviously unsure of her ability to stand and talk back to Edde Loxley. "And that's the Spirit babygirl!" Melanie said, pecking her cheek countless times. Elizabeth has always wished to be like Melanie, Melanie is everything in one woman! She is bold, strong and beautiful, every man she comes across respects her. Elizabeth has never been with a man before and doesn't know how to deal with them, Melanie's words kept replaying in her head as she wondered how on Earth it was gonna be possible to talk back to Edde, Edde's gaze alone makes her melt! His presence seals her tongue! So how does she go about all Melanie said?

Another voice spoke snapping me out of my wayward thoughts. "Hello, Melanie," I said to the tall raven-haired woman that settled beside me. "How are you, Phil?" 'Talk about a reunion.' "I'm good," I replied in a monotone. Melanie was one of my flings, I met her at a meeting I attended in England. A very beautiful model but then I couldn't see myself dating her. She was the type that stays only for money; in other words, she was ambitious and she could do anything to get what she wants, including selling her body.

She is a witch with the dna of a wolf. When she gets mad, her eyes shine with an amber hue and her magic takes the shape of a wolf when used. She is strong, physically and magically. However, she still carries the emotional damage from that time. It doesn’t bother me though. I have baggage of my own that she also knows about. We help each other, and she is my best friend and confidant.

I sighed. “Awe…” Melanie cooed, kissing each of my cheeks. “Why do you say that?” she asked. “Because, while I'm happy. I truly am girls. I am happy to become a father to your children. And I’m happy that my children will grow up away from here where they are safe and free. It means I'll never see them.” I frowned. Melanie hugged me tight, and soon the others came over and hugged me too. “We’ll raise your children to be strong, smart, and kind like their father.” Melite smiled.

Melanie felt angry and resentful, but there was nothing she could do. A woman like her relied on her body and beauty to coax men so that she could live a life without worries. She was not as strong and independent as Helena, who could choose not to take a single penny from a man. Melanie could not live without a man, not to mention since she had been pampered for so many years.

From time to time, she brought up Eleanor. Melanie whispered, "The thought of Maisie getting a stepdad is weighing heavily on Karen's mind. They started out as a loving couple, but she had lived a sheltered life and thus knew nothing about the hardships of life.
