The sky was an intense, almost unreal blue, and for a moment, everything felt too perfect.
“Hi, Jacob,” I finally answered, tilting my face up like a sunflower to catch a bit of sunlight.
“Hi, Camila.” His voice sounded calm—almost playful.
“How are you?” I asked, eyes still closed, soaking in the warmth of our star.
“Now I’m absolutely fine. You should see my view—it’s perfect.”
“Oh, really?” I smiled, opening my eyes and glancing around for a clue. “And where exactly are you?”
“It’s a place where aromas, warmth, and soft light blend together,” he said, as if describing a painting.
