Chapter 10. ——♣—— Millicent spent hours in the library long enough to make her believe she fell asleep. Because by the time she opened her eyes, it was dark and the book had somehow made its way to the ground. It had to be the drugs, no doubt. Immediately, she left the library for the kitchen, hoping to get a drink. But as she approached the stairs, she smelled food even before she could locate the source. The scent filled the east corridor and Millicent followed it with, partly because her stomach had been running on tea since morning.

The lady blurted out, chuckling a bit. Millie just stared back at her, not buying the lady’s joke (if it was even a joke). Sighing, she nodded at her and said, “Oh alright ma’am. I… understand. Thank you.” She turned her back and marched her way out of the library feeling a bit disappointed that she wasn’t able to get hold of the book. As she was walking, she saw a convenience store nearby so she decided to step in and buy snacks. Then, she brought out her phone to call her aunt. “Aunt Lu, I’m here at the convenience store right now. Do you need anything?”

She cheered. " What should we do first?" I asked " firstly, we should buy something relevant like...um... let's get you a phone..since you can't mind link us yet, we'll be communicating with you through phones then after that we can spend some cash on more irrelevant stuff " Mills said. I agreed immediately, " sure let's go"" to the phone store!" Doe exclaimed taking some passing wolves by surprise. Millicent flicked her forehead, " inside voice, idiot"" ow!... So mean" she whined and rubbed the new red spot on her forehead. I chuckled and followed them, " Time to spend some moolah bitches" I rubbed my hands together evilly.

But her stomach churned and she felt as if swallowing one bite would make her sick. Millicent snorted. “My dear, perhaps I ought to have warned you to lower your standards in that regard. If you use a man’s height against him we may never find the right one.”Millicent says smirking, Millicent is one of Aurora's many good friends, she's also in the same profession as her.

Millicent entered the study room, closing and locking the door behind her. “You’re early,” I forced a smile and watched her walk toward me. “I heard you left the office earlier,” Millicent said, sitting on the couch across from me and crossing her legs. Her skirt was so short that I could see her panties already, but she seemed not to mind. “The boss deserves a break sometimes,” I muttered, sighing as I browsed my smartphone, pretending to read my emails. “What do you like? Coffee or juice?” “You,” Millicent answered.
