Her voice sounded so distressed that it ebbed at the chords of my heart. Without a second thought, I turned around and came face to face with her. “Mom?” I stuttered, unable to believe my eyes. Her eyes brimmed with unshed tears, “We are dying. The wall is too weak. Help us.” She said from the glowing mirror.

I think he has just said goodbye to the bandage, because he won't need it again. We reach where the mirror is, engraved on the wall with a gold coated frame. He stands in front of it and admires what he sees. There is no wound and there is no pain. I'm standing right behind him and our reflections in the mirror meet and we smile at each other. Then he turns around and faces me.

I sigh and begin to leave when I see Clair coming towards me. Oh no. She reaches me, looks around awkwardly and says a small, quite "hey" "Uh...hi?" Is my response, why is she speaking to me? I glance behind her to see Violet looking at our direction with the same confused look on her face that I am sure am sporting. "I wanted to um...." Clair says gaining my attention back to her. And I wait for her to continue. "I wanted to..." she clears her throat. How long do we have here?

It's a song sung by the band Westlife, Evergreen. I put the earphone on her ear and the other one on mine. Due to her surprise, she opened her eyes again. We met each other's eyes. "Close your eyes again, woman," I mumbled softly and went on with what I was doing on her hand. As I focused my eyes on her, I could hear my own heartbeats going along with the music in our ears. I let the lyrics of the song voice out what I really want to say, what my heart wants to tell her.

The other guys seems unbothered while doing their own business but Alaric becomes attentive at the moment and there is a wide smile being plastered on his face. “Spring didn’t know to wait, showed up not even a minute late.” “Streets erased of footprints, I lie here, fallen to the ground…” I tilted my head.
