Mike blinked again, then threw his hands up.
“What the fuck?? She told you that???”
A couple of people at the bar glanced over, but Mike didn’t care.
I shrugged tiredly. “Yep.”
Mike shook his head, half laughing, half stunned. “Man… that is the most backwards logic I’ve ever heard.”
I gave a small, helpless smile. “Tell me about it.”
Mike grabbed his drink and raised it slightly. “Well, here’s to misunderstandings, terrible communication, and friends who have to hear about it over cheap whiskey.”
