~Nick~ The name’s Nick Gracen, but most call me Lightning. I’m the local prez of the Wild Ridge MC Club. It’s a title that carries weight, respect, and a hell of a lot of responsibility. I looked around the clubhouse, a place that had seen more action than most could handle. The air was thick with the scent of oil, leather, and a hint of whiskey—a comforting blend that felt like home. The brothers were scattered around, some tinkering with their bikes, others deep in conversation about our latest shipment.

Bombs rained on the city's crowded streets. A harsh winter wind blew out of the midnight sky. It roared out of the frigid north and thrashed the brooking forest. The force of it bent trees, whipping their bare branches like angry lashes. Shrieking across the river. The maple trees from afar were black and slick in the rain, their bare branches shiny. The flower bed was a soggy matting of dead stems. Bright, flashing lightning lighted up the sky like fireworks; banging, crashing thunder roaring furiously, sizzling, electrifying lightning zipping across the night sky.

I had finally gotten my Rainbow back. Until a sudden blast hit the trees where the hybrids were waiting. "Get down, Rainbow!" I screamed as I pushed her to the floor and shielded her with my body from the rubbles of the blast. "Shit!" I shout-whispered.

Leon nodded. "Great!" "Leon, we didn't expect to receive such great gifts after not seeing you for a while. We love you!" Iris and the others were overjoyed. Ruth was always talented and obsessed with martial arts. The Rainbow Pills were made from the Rainbow Fruit and Emperor Herb, which meant that their effect would surpass the Motherwort Pill she once took. Hence, she would surely power up with it. Instantly, she was overwhelmed by excitement and grinned from ear to ear.

I said as I crossed my arms in front of my chest. "I love mint choco." He said and I stopped. "Disgusting!" I hissed and he laughed. "Why is that disgusting? It's good." "I feel like brushing my teeth when I eat that flavour." I shook my head. "Do you have a pet?" He asked. "I have a black labrador at home. How about you?" "Really? I have a labrador too!" He said and I turned to him completely surprised. "Millie.. her name." "Blue.. his name." I turned to him and looked at him straight into his eyes.

"Arisa Gail Valentine!" My head shot up to the direction where the spotlight headed and there she was. The claps from the students faded out slowly through my ears while I stared at her merely. Her raven hair was flowing down on her snowy shoulders as her silver hairpins shone like prairie stars in the starry night. A pair of blue eyes were shifted down to avoid the uncomfortable light yet it still showed how she looked so captivating in my hazel green one.

Author's POV Damon led Mira inside their house and she saw an angry Rafael in front of them. He looked at her madly and clapped his hands. "Bravo!... Mariana, bring a trophy for our brave Mira" He mocked. Mira gulped while looking down, Rafael was looking pissed. "What were you thinking?..." She didn't answer. "What were you fucking thinking, Mira?" He growled at her. "Rafael, calm down!"

He said rubbing her shoulders. "Noah!" She croaked and hiccuped as she cried with all her heart. "He doesn't d-deserve that!" She stuttered and wiped her tears holding his only bracelet that fell. "I know Mia, he doesn't deserve that." BLAZE VIEW. Blaze was in his human form, fighting off the rogue warrior in one second, he ripped their head off with anger and his eyes glaring at nowhere. There was he, his only objective was to kill the rogue alpha without any mercy.

We could make a comeback. “Raine!” Captain Smitty called out to me as we all took our positions beside the rope. I looked back at the fat man, wondering why it was that he was calling my name. “Grab the end of the rope. Didn’t I tell you that already?” I couldn’t help but to roll my eyes and I was sure everyone noticed. I didn’t care anymore. Everyone just needed to face the fact that Raine McClaren does not play well with others when it comes to her career. She could not be told what to do, no matter how hard you try. “Raine!” I stood in front, wanting to face my enemy. Jordan was across from me, a grin on his face. He looked at me with the particular scepticism of someone who has been promised things before. “I’m going to teach you how to disappear,” I said. He frowned. “What, like a magic trick?” “Like biology.” I pointed to my eyes. “Every human being has a blind spot. Where the optic nerve meets the retina the brain just fills in the blanks and you never notice what’s missing. In hockey, that spot gets bigger. The cage, the padding, the helmet they create pockets of nothing. If you stay in that gap, you don’t exist to the defender.”
