Alex My guts had not been right, in fact it was the farthest from being right. Just like the other nights, I had been woken by a constant stream of nightmares. Her mind will begin to conjure trauma-based moments, sometimes, making up some, scaring her into speechlessness." I let out a giggle. "Isn't that wonderful?"

Vito bolted upright in bed, his chest heaving and his bandages soaked with cold sweat. He could still hear Aurora’s voice in his ears, crying for help. Nightmares had tormented him every night the Godfathers’ Night, but none of them was as terrifying as this.
