The middle-aged man stared at the screen as if he had not heard the words. On the screen, the monster suddenly lowered his head and bit the girl on the neck. The unconscious girl struggled for a while before stopped struggling. Almost in an instant, the girl's body became shrunken like a flat balloon, her skin became grey-white, and she looked like a mummy.

They were wrong. I was the house. And the house always wins. As I sped toward the secret docks in New Jersey, my phone buzzed. It was a message from a number I didn't recognize, but the signature was unmistakable. "The first rule of the Black Rose, Sienna: Never let the monsters see you bleed. You're doing well. See you at the rendezvous." — M. M. My father? Or someone even more dangerous? I gripped the wheel, the cold wind whipping my hair. I was pregnant, alone, and hunted by the most powerful men in the world.

It became more intense the closer I worked to the windows, but strangely, I saw no one each time I peeked. What is going on? Could it be that the monster has discovered a human wolf lives here? Is this how I am going to die? Now more than ever, I wish Mateo could come over, but I don’t think so. His mother should probably be at home. My teeth began jittering, and my entire body quivered in fear. I don’t want to be killed by the monster just like he killed my son. I promised my son to take revenge on this monster and all of his kind. I will show no mercy once the moon goddess grants me that power. I don’t know how it will all happen, but I am very sure I will take my revenge on the monster.

Blue immediately nods his head. “Okay so here is the plan. I am sending ten monsters to attack the Ma Vista’s tomorrow and I need you too...” The next morning is Mayhem all the monsters gather in the backyard as they prepare to hear all the monsters that will be going to the Ma Vista’s today. There is an excited buzz that floats around the yard as they all stand there waiting for me to finally address them. Finally I stand, all the monsters stop whispering to one another and the backyard falls silent.
