"Cameron Stuart! Just how much more trouble are you trying to cause me!" Natalie Parker's shrill voice rang in my ears, jolting me awake. The moment I opened my eyes, I saw her raising a bottle of sulfuric acid to splash it on me. Recalling the unbearable agony that overwhelmed me in my previous life, I instinctively reached out to grab the bottle. Still, some of the liquid splashed out anyway, dripping onto my body. I gasped in pain. After exhaling deeply, I clenched my jaw and caught Natalie by the wrist. "Are you mad? You can kill someone if you throw an entire bottle of sulfuric acid at them! Don't you know that?"

No, it couldn’t be… The large beast flapped its serpentine wings above her head as it came in for a landing. It’s scales took on the color of honey, shining like mirrors in the sun, and it landed with the grace of a blue heron, as it’s onyx talons clacked against the concrete patio. Madchen gasped as the beast shook it’s shiny scales, and sitting atop its head were two beautiful black horns. Ruby eyes blinked in the morning mist, eyes that looked vaguely familiar to her.

I needed to feed my monsters or there would be consequences. “Hi, handsome. Would you like some company?” I turned and saw an attractive blonde standing next to me. Perfect. I thought to myself. She wasn’t my usual but she would do. So I started my game again. Within thirty minutes she was walking out the door with me. We walked over to my car and I held the door as she climbed in. I smiled to myself as I climbed into the car and drove her to her death. This wasn’t how I wanted the night to end at least not with this woman but it would hold off my demons for now.

Monsters and humans alike fell into a soft lull, as if all was truly right in the world but a shock to the system would one day bring a resurgence of monster violence and they are going to need heroes to protect them from the monsters among them. The monsters are the ones who lose their children and sit down to cry. I do not sit. I take back what’s mine. Yes, Veronica, the spoiled girl, is dead. Crimson Rogue has taken her place.

ELSA ELKINS' POV "She's a wanted criminal whose face is all over the places in Chocó." My eyes bulged as soon as I heard him and I began to wonder why Jessica was wanted by the authorities. The lead Investigator turned towards Jessica and his lips curled into a smirk. "The Mighty Jezz," He called sarcastically as he walked towards her. "Daughter of Mr. Lee Yuka, owner of the most sought after drug empire in the whole of Chocó"

And my breath hitched. What’s he talking about? I frowned, watching as he took a step forward. And recognition seems to hit me hard….
