CHAPTER 99 THE REDMOON NIGHT AGAIN "This doesn’t look like ordinary plants." He stated. She made her way to the front door. He pierced the lock with his claw and unlocked it as it grew. Titus opened it, and the first breath of fresh air made him feel dizzy. "How long has this been with your grandfather?" "I’m not sure. Why?" He took one of the flowers in his hands and felt it. "This is monkshood, Selena." Monkshood is being planted by your grandfather."

I grinned at him " You know me so well." "Just tell me why you're here so I can help you out, I need to get back to work.". He said "You're so impatient." I said, chuckling loudly. A small patch of flowers at the rear end of the greenhouse caught my attention and I moved to get a closer look. It was a rich dark maroon and had velvety rounded petals and dark brown centers. "That's the Chocolate cosmos. It's quite rare and has a chocolaty- Vanilla fragrance. It'll be perfect for a gift. " Cam's voice rang out from behind me, I didn't realize he had followed me.

With a determined expression, she points to her selection, signaling her choice. Finrir, after a moment of consideration, nods toward an oxyplant featuring oval leaves. Its unique characteristics catch his attention, and he feels a connection to it. Tritan's attention turns to a particular oxyplant, recognizing it as his sister's favorite. With one of its many ancestors being an orchid, this oxyplant boasts vibrant purple blooms speckled with bioluminescent patterns.

After a brief silence, detective Jones broke the silence and asked "what do you think maria?“ “About what?” “This, of course!” detective Jones said increasing his tone. “Calm down partner. Anyways, I think we're dealing with a nasty serial killer that has an obsession with flowers” Maria joked. “It's not just that. But wait, I think am beginning to get the pieces, according to the woman, a white rose represents chastity and purity, now a blood stain on it would mean what? The chastity or purity have been stained and how is that possible?”

But before he could completely pull it out, he caught a glimpse of an oncoming attack. He quickly stepped back and swiftly grabbed his sword out from its sheath before slaying the little thing into half. The yellow plant's roots were almost out of the soil so it was very easy for Ji Nan to retrieve it. He looked at the piece of instructions the physicians had given and felt overjoyed. It really was the jewelweed, the most effective herb to treat poison. He checked everything as instructed by the doctor. The sky was still filled with falling snow and a tint of black seemed to disrupt the little daylight that had been reigning all day. Ji Nan took off towards the camp. He ran with the only thi

A piece of moonflower seed appeared in our hands. A kiss sealed our vows. We planted the seed together in empty soil and it sprouts and blooms within the minute it was planted. Lanasia explained beforehand that this symbolizes the seeds of werewolf lovers. Our moonflower is the very first planted one, soon, this grove will be filled with moonflowers.

She smelled of wolf. Full wolf, not the suppressed register I was projecting behind the Switch, not the dampened human-baseline signal I was broadcasting as Lyanna Black. The real thing, clean and particular, the scent of a bloodline with depth in it, the specific compound of someone high-born and aware of it and comfortable with the awareness. My Silver Dawn receptors catalogued it automatically. High rank. Not the highest in this compound, but high enough to move through it with the proprietary ease she was currently demonstrating. I kept my face exactly where it was and did not let the cataloguing show.

Zev called after her, but his voice faded into the night. Only when everything fell silent did Amanda and Vada cautiously part the thick bushes to check whether the pair had gone. “They never sensed us?” Vada whispered in disbelief. “The moonflowers are in bloom tonight. Their fragrance is strong enough to overwhelm a wolf’s sense of smell and conceal our scent, as long as the moon remains high,” Amanda replied, drawing from her extensive knowledge of medicinal herbs. When Amanda looked at me, she gently wiped away the tears I hadn’t even realized were falling. The shock of the truth had broken through my defenses.

It smells like the bedroom after Gideon whipped me and made me cum harder than anyone before him. “They're called Moonflowers.” Low mutters as he reaches around me to take the flower out of my hand; he turns it upside down and shakes so the yellow pollen falls into his hand. “They only bloom when fated mates join under the power of a full moon. Fated shifter mates.” He’s speaking softly as he drops the flower and uses a finger to collect the pollen from his palm; he presses it against my neck before I can stop him. I’m instantly filled with a warmth that reminds me of when Gideon holds me, I want to whimper and beg him not to leave but he’s not here. It's fake

"Maybe some moonflowers if we can find any. Wait, those purple ones that grow by the stream, what are they called? "Wolfsbane," Thomas said dryly. "Not actual wolfsbane, Dad." Lily rolled her eyes. "I’m talking about the purple flowers that look like wolfsbane but can’t kill us." "Monkshood," Erin supplied. "Also poisonous." "The other purple ones." Erin caught her mother's eye across the table. Her mother looked like she was fighting a smile and failing at it terribly. Erin chuckled faintly, searing this moment in her memory. With Lily debating flower arrangements and her father pretending to be grumpy about decorations, everything felt normal. The knot in he
