A full-on scream. “LAUREN?!” I burst into laughter immediately. “Yes, it’s me!” That was all it took. Within seconds, the entire store erupted.

He laughed and looked at me. "You certainly remembered that," he purred then tossed the contract, watching as it burst into flames but didn't leave any ashes behind. He smirked devilishly and then disappeared from my sight. I could hear screaming down the halls and smelled the metallic scent of blood. I sat up quickly and started for the door. Why're they screaming? The door was unlocked when I reached it, slowly swinging open for me. A woman in a nurse's outfit suddenly ran past with a panicked, fearful expression as she held her neck, a knife sticking out of it.

Chapter 32 - Price Lilith A blood-curdling scream filled the room, the sound loud enough to burst an eardrum. It took me several seconds to realize it was coming from me. Pain rippled through my body, and my stomach twisted at the sudden flare of pain. My vision blurred, and tears instantly poured down my face as the room spun around me. Every thought was drowned out by the screams tearing from my throat and the blinding pain coming from the knife wounds in my hands.

I pushed the door open and found myself in the room where the screams were originating. When I looked at the ladies, I sighed softly. Jersey and Roxanne were tickling Thelma on the ground, causing her to scream loudly and beg them to stop. "We won't stop until you laugh, lady. You lack facial expressions as if you have a lot of fillers and botox in your damn face!" Roxanne said loudly, as Thelma screamed even louder before finally bursting into laughter. "Finally, she is laughing!" Jersey exclaimed. I stood there with a smile on my face. This was the first time I had seen them this close.

Lisa didn't know what this what, but all she knew was that her heart was no longer here and her legs could not move. As everyone ran helter skelter and pushed her, she could not even fall. Her face was full of shiriek and fear. Olivia could not move too, she only kept screaming.
