Sedangkan Halimah seorang muslim yang sedikit tomboy dengan potongan rambut pendek. Dalam perjalanan belajar di kelas 5, sosok pengajar yang hangat akan selamanya terkenang. Beliau bernama Pak Kasim yang tiba-tiba memilih pindah tempat mengajar. Kami sekelas merasa kehilangan. Hingga akhirnya memberikan nyanyian terakhir diiringi tangisan histeris. Menjelang pulang sekolah, beliau mengucapkan kata perpisahan. Hal itu membuat salah satu teman bernama Efi memberikan sepucuk surat kepada Pak Kasim. Sepanjang mengayuh sepeda menuju rumah masing-masing, kami masih saja menangis. Suatu ketika, menjelang kenaikan kelas. Sekolah mengadakan liburan ke beberapa obyek wisata Yogyakarta. Bab selanjutnya, Ayu, Halimah, dan penulis bertenngkar saling menendang satu sama lain di belakang sekolah. Teman-teman yang lain tentu saja bersorak sorai menyemangati kami untuk beradu kekuatan.
