My mother had passed away during my birth because of her weak constitution and my father was worst hit by her death. When I was six years old my father had brought a new wife. I hadn't said anything because I knew the loneliness inside of him... My stepmother was not in the least bit interested in me but she hated me. because I was a child with legitimate blood whereas her son was the one, she had with her previous husband.

Her tone was sarcastic, as she tapped her well manicured fingers on the armrest. As I listened to my mother speak, I wondered what had actually gone wrong. What evil and unpardonable offence had I done to my very own parents, that made them murder and derive satisfaction from my death? I wondered where that sweet woman that raised me up, disappeared to. Or had she been a monster all along? A monster like her husband? "And what if I am?" I threw back boldly, not flinching even when her face closed up, and her eyes glinted dangerously.

I didn't know she was just fourteen at the time! She was a fucking kid! What kind of evil her mother was to do that to her own flesh and blood?!

CHAPTER 63.2 EVELYN'S P.O.V I walked towards her, but Phoenix stopped me and looked at me with those worried eyes. I chuckled and smiled at him, assuring him that I'll be fine, and he reluctantly let me go. “Don't you already know the answer to your question? Your mother married a devil. Your mother is a blasphemous one. Your mother tried to put harm on my mother and Lord God. Your mother had already sided with the evil, which is your father. Don't make me laugh! You just wanted to find someone to blame and it happened to be me! You, yourself know what you've done to not deserve the pity of Lord God and not deserve to be his granddaughter.” I said fiercely as I held my weapon tightly.

The woman began to chant, her voice rising to a crescendo, and Emilia felt herself being pulled towards the darkness, towards the very heart of evil. Just as Emilia felt the darkness closing in around her, a sudden burst of light pierced through the night sky. It was a moonbeam, shining down with a brilliant intensity that seemed to repel the shadows. Emilia's heart leaped with hope as she recognized the familiar figure stepping out from the darkness—the spirit of her mother. Her mother’s long, dark hair cascaded down her back, shimmering with an ethereal glow, and her eyes radiated a warmth that banished the darkness around them.

Her mouth parted slightly, and her hand shook as she swallowed and tried to reach out to me. “Eve… I…” But I took a step back before she could touch me as though her touch might sting. I noticed the hurt that flashed through her eyes at this. I bit my tongue, trying my best to control my anger. How could any normal mother throw their baby away just like that? How more evil and selfish could she get? I guess everyone was right about her all along. She was evil and crazy. “Don’t.” I said to her and her arm fell to her side. Swallowed again, her eyes glossy with tears that threatened to spill and roll down her face.

I nod my head frantically "She is insane, she was going to carve out our child, and purify me by fire. I know the truth now, everything mama did was carefully curated, she wanted to mess with my head, and convince me I was crazy. What she didn't plan was me leaving the house and meeting you. She was going to kill me as soon as she got back from killing her mother. Ace, my mother was going to burn me alive in the same house I was born." He pulls me closer "What do you want me to do to her." Mama laughs, forcing us to give her our attention "It started in fire, it all ends there." Everything she did was to convince me that I was a devil spawn, she ignored me when I told her my brother touched

He poured her a glass of water, and unwrapped some medicines from the kitchen counter, bringing the pills close to his mother's mouth. "I won't eat them! I'd rather die than live to face the humiliation of Mr and Mrs Willows broken hope! Throw these pills away-" "Mom. It's not the time to be stubborn-" "I'm being stubborn?! I? After what you did to all of us, you still don't see what you did wrong!? I'm utterly speechless for ever giving birth to the evil in the name of a son-" "I know, Mom. I know I'm evil. Okay. I admit it. Now please eat these-" He held the pills once again close to her mouth but his mother swatted his hand away, looking anywhere but him.

“What if we have to choose and then something happens and we end up choosing wrongly?” “I believe evil is already tired of us and obviously wants us gone by all means necessary, so choosing wrongly is not even an option at this point,” he shrugs. “We are both stubborn and I don't think your mother wrote this to scare you. I think she wrote it to prepare you and to make sure you understand what you are and what you are capable of doing so that when the moment comes, you will be ready. She loves you, and sometimes, love can be tough.”

She smiled and forwarded the bread nicely buttered and coated thickly with Violet's favorite, plum jam, "I like this place too if you remove the junk from here. It's not that bad actually." "Let that Darci have that room— Talking about Darci, I was going to visit her and her mother." Said Auriele with an evil glint in her eyes. "Can you please not go? They're evil. I don't want you getting hurt because of them." "Don't worry about me, honey. Your mom's dealt with many snakes like these before. You eat these while I'll just pay them a quick visit and return." She got up and dusted her hands.
