My Father's Eyes My Mother's Rage Book Novels & Stories

Five years later The late afternoon sun bathed the backyard of their North Georgia home in warm golden light. Laughter echoed across the lawn as four-year-old Aurora chased her two-year-old brother, Elias, around the swing set. The little girl had inherited her father’s striking ice-blue eyes and her mother’s radiant mahogany skin and curly hair. Elias was a perfect blend of both — pale skin with warm undertones, dark curls, and the same mischievous energy that kept his parents on their toes.

I lifted up the hair covering my right eye and I revealed it to Gertrude. Gertrude screamed in fright as his eyes went bright in shock. “You-You don’t have a right eyes? How’s that even possible? Was It me that took out your eye?” “Don’t be so full of yourself. You must have heard of the rumor that I killed my father at the age of twelve.” “Yes, what about it?” He asked. “When fighting with my father, he gouged my right eye with his bare hands. I was so filled with anger and hatred that I didn’t notice till after the fight,” I said with a straight face.

My father’s rage was palpable, vibrating through the space with a force that made me instinctively flinch. He turned his attention to me, his eyes narrowing. “You come with me now!” he barked, his voice dripping with fury as he pointed toward the door, like I was nothing more than a child who needed scolding. I stayed rooted in my spot, unable to move, a wave of defiance taking root despite my nerves.

Ruby M. Clive Father’s large hand presses against my neck ensuring no more air can cross to my lungs, my hands feel so small compared to his as I try to pry him from me. I don’t want to die. "It's these eyes!" Father spits, the green in his gaze holding his venom too unmistakably. Father hates me? Why? Mother said that he would accept us if I behaved properly. I didn’t make a mistake! I swear. "These eyes are not a Clive's! This is not my child, you whore."

He glared at me with full of rage ,devilish and dangerous eyes. " please let me go..., I said. "you deserve this... Your father is the reason of your all suffering",he said angrily. "What did me and my father did to you",i shouted on him." he fu** king old man Betray me. " he shouted dangerously on me. "You are a monster.... Beast... Youuuu... Suddenly he choked my neck with his full power and anger. "don't try to arose your voice in front of me...you whore " ,he yelled at me.

Inhaling rapidly and superficially, I felt his intense gaze fixed upon me, his eyes remaining narrowed and filled with inexplicable rage, displaying a disturbing hint of insanity. And then, just like that, I was furious too. “I told you to leave me alone for god’s sake! What do you you’re doing?” Instead of shrinking against the window, I straightened up and thrust out my chin, casting a fierce glare in his direction. “My father—” “Fuck your father.” With intense violence, his jaw twitched while he firmly placed one hand on the seat in front of us, leaving me trapped. His eyes, of a pale blue shade, emitted a dangerous gleam. “What the fuck are you planning, Rara?”

My rage boiled over, seeping into the shadows that enveloped me like living tendrils, eager for release. "You have crossed me for the final time," I growled, my voice distorted with rage. "You will regret ever setting foot in my castle." My father remained eerily calm, tilting his head as if observing a child's tantrum. "Such theatrics, Edward. You truly are your mother's son. Always so emotional. Let's not pretend this is a battle you can win."

“Maybe it's waking up right now because I surely saw the wolf in your eyes.” My heart began to thunder. I sucked in a shaky breath and ran my trembling fingers through my hair. “You said that my eyes were red... I don't think it is possible.” He let out a slow exhale and narrowed his eyes at me. “You told me about your father, who used to be an unranked warrior, but you never told me about your mother.”

I had never seen my mother this furious for the first time. Her blue eyes were glinting like ripples in a furious ocean, ready to drown anything that came their way. Her muscles were pumped, and as she stared at me, I saw the true image of a deadly vampire queen with the witch gene. Even her hair let loose by itself, scattering all over her face. "No need to remind him; he knows there is no way for him and that wolf. Personally, I think he is joking." The father of Celine cut in, and I sneered at him.

For the first time since my mother saw my arm, her face split into a radiant, very satisfied smile. I gulped, suddenly realizing the shithole I was in. My father was furious. It was barely discernible in his body language but now that I knew what to look for, his barely restrained rage was evident in the way he was barely keeping his words from turning into a growl and the way his eyes kept flashing, like his wolf was fighting to get out and he was trying to hold it back. It hit me then.
