My Father's Eyes My Mother's Rage Book นิยาย & เรื่องราว

My father’s eyes searched mine, seeing the bruises that were hidden beneath my collar, seeing the new hardness in my gaze that hadn't been there a month ago. He smiled, a sad but proud twist of his lips. "Yes... you are grown up. More than I ever wanted you to be, perhaps. But you are a Theron bloodline through and through." "Oh, please!" The tension was snapped by a dramatic, high-pitched wail. Rosa stepped forward, fanning herself with one hand while the other clutched her chest. She looked at me with a pout that was so exaggerated I couldn't help but let out a short, hysterical laugh.

It felt like someone grabbed my heart and squeezed. The suffocating pain made my vision blur black at the edges. "Ginny! Daddy's here! Wake up!" I screamed until my throat tore, snatching up a brick from the ground and slamming it against the driver-side window. A loud crack split the air. Spider web fractures spread across the glass. The moment she saw me smashing the window, Shanon's shrill voice pierced the air. "Leomund! Have you lost your mind?"

She's just a worker trying to make a living. The cashier smirked triumphantly. "Exactly. I guess your face really is a window to your soul. Your mother is much more reasonable than you." A few people in the crowd chimed in. "Yeah, no need to waste police resources. The mother has the right idea." "How can a mother and daughter be so different? Typical capitalist. No empathy for the working class." Anger flared in my chest at Mom's words. How was I the one making things difficult? I hadn't stolen a thing.

Without mercy, a fury so deep overcame me, dimming my light and hugging me in shadows. My rage was aimed right at Draven, but just as I was going to throw everything at him, time stilled. In front of me now stood my mother, but she wasn’t alone. Beside her was a man that held the same eyes as me. I instantly recognized him for who he was– my father. My eyes watered and the fury I felt just seconds before blew out like a candle. I stood, wrapping my arms around them both, wishing either one of them could actually be here with me.

They really want to make me mad. "I DON'T GET ANY OF THIS MOM? DAD?" I couldn't take the strain of my rage any longer. I shouted at them. I stared at them as if I were going to kill them. I noticed how my mom can't look me in the eyes while my father is worried sick about her because he knows she doesn't want us to fight. But Hell! I am mad! I am very mad!

“Does it make you feel like a man to beat up your wife and son? You hit Mother into submission all the time. Does it fucking arouse you, or is that what every Alpha has to do to prove his damned manliness?” “Watch your tone!” my father roared. I heard footsteps behind us. I didn’t turn. I didn’t care who had arrived. I didn’t look away from my father either. His eyes swirled from their original color to red. Those were the eyes of an Alpha when the beast was furious and wanted to show itself. They were terrifying, and for some people, they might be the last thing they ever saw before they died. I should have been afraid. Father had only ever shown me his golden eyes.

The reserve he controls so tightly is gone. I once asked my mother what first attracted her to my father. She said it was his eyes—the kindness in his eyes. Moon has intense eyes—blue and mystic, treacherous and deadly, sensual and all-knowing. His eyes alone draw me in. Then, he laughs. It’s more than a sexy sound. It’s sex that punches between my thighs so I’m riding the vibration. It’s deep and uncontrolled; a veritable thrust of sound that heats my blood.

" The lackey quickly nodded in agreement, and Morrigan finally let her go. Everyone present knew that Eleanor had a volatile temper. Even strong men avoided provoking her when she snapped. "I can't believe Mom spent money to treat your eyes. You deserve none of this! The money spent on your treatment belongs to the Heinrich family—it's mine. Give it back to me right now!" Morrigan shrieked like a madwoman. I stared in shock as she picked up a steel bar from the ground. Before I could scream for help, excruciating pain came from where my left eye was. First, everything turned red. Then, it was followed by total darkness.

She said with such frailty as if with the last ounce of strength in her. Her eyes with gloomy and scored by tears. I looked from his fierce grip into his void dark eyes and I couldn't recognize this man. This man, I called my father. But when he did look into mine, he let go. "Shit" He cursed, his fists still in a tight clench. As he paced around the room, he roared as he threw punches into the wall. "Kaleo" My mother called from where she laid and as soon as we made eye contact, she started crying.

I yelled right back at him. A look of surprise crossed his face as his eyes moved to the back and he yelled “Get the fuck out of this room right now” My mother hurriedly left the room as she jammed the door rushing running out He faced me back and his eyes were lost in the feelings of anger that were embedded in them. His eyes are huge from the words understand, speaking so much more than I want to hear or know The hatred in them is soul-clenching, it's so painful I felt the radiant beat of my heart as it fades
