Covered in thick layers of dust is a brown leather book. Ever so carefully, I pull it out and wipe the dust off with my hand. It is hard to see the lettering, but I see the familiar “W.” With everything I had, I inhale and hold my breath before blowing across the beautiful leather material sitting in the palm of my tiny hands. “The World of the Unknown. I found you.”

I felt empty and nothing was going to save me. Right now I'm currently on my day off, sitting in the library reading a book about shifters. I thought I knew a lot from my library back home. The human library that I visited frequently had a whole wall of books about shifters. But they were all written by humans. Reading these books has made me realize I knew nothing. Three whole double sided bookshelves filled with these books. I hadn't even finished a whole row yet.

’ Clara asked. The Colfers looked at each other and shrugged, ‘Mostly, I think,’ John, his dad answered. 'Some of them are first editions, so the books are just there for decoration,’ he said, smiling. ‘So, Clara, my dear, Sebastian said you wanted to talk to us. What is this about?’ his mom pried. ‘Sam, let the girl sit and relax before you interrogate her,’ John scolded his wife.

It could be anything. Once in my room, I placed the box on my desk and tore at the wrapping, my fingers trembling slightly. Inside was a book. It had a thick book cover and was ancient-looking, with golden letters of the title that shone brightly when caught in the light. I traced the title with my fingers, my curiosity growing. “The long-lost mysteries of the world,” I muttered. Who could have sent it? I flipped open the pages and a small paper fell out. "It's just… flying that far is gonna take forever. What if we die from the heat before we even get there?" I sighed. "Forget it. Maybe I should just call Raven and try to work with her." Several moments later he returned carrying a book unlike any I had ever seen. It had no title. Its cover was completely white. When he placed it in my hands, I noticed something even stranger. Every page was blank. Chaos looked intrigued. "I haven't seen that one in centuries." "What is it?" I asked. Order gently turned the first page. "A reflection." I frowned. "Of what?" He smiled softly. "A missing soul." Silence settled over the room. He looked at me. "Picture the one you're searching for." I closed my eyes.

The room was small with books taking up most of the spaces, leaving a very small space for people to sit. Red mask went to the seat behind the table and nodded for us to seat opposite him. Reluctantly, Craig pulled me to the seat beside him. Yet, I couldn’t help but stare at the strange pictures all over the room. There were like thousands of books that I was sure no one would be able to read to finish, no matter how many minutes they spent reading each day. “Where’s the mark?” he said without preamble. He seemed not to be interested in any other thing than the mark.

Just past the first turn, she realised there was no house, no village in front of her, only a long stretch of whiteness bordered by snow-powdered hedges without a telltale rise in smoke in the distance. Author’s POV: Next day all was going good, classes were going on inspector Isaac and John and others were working in their police station. All of a sudden, the electric lights began trembling. The occurrence kept happening for ten to fifteen seconds and then it was ok. Some people got frightened and all got curious. “This happened after eleven years, the same as before”, Isaac told in presence of John and another officer. They looked at each other. Students of a class started whispering. Seeing that the lecturer ordered to stop and again began to give his lecture. Lusie looked her left-right and it was ok few persons there steered each other.
