Mystical Wolves Novels & Stories

I didn’t have to look around to know that the same expression of hopelessness was present on every other rogue in the arena, and beyond. Because as my signal, the howl of a single wolf could be heard, and felt, by every single Werewolf in the area. And it wasn’t just any wolf who had come calling. It was the howl of one particular wolf, one who they all instinctively knew without knowing how. One that promised death to any whose crimes called for it. The Silver Myst had arrived.

The wolves, guardians of an ancient legacy, seemed to recognize her as a custodian of a power that bridged the worlds—a power that held the key to the mysteries yet to unfold. In the ethereal glow of the moon, a transformation unfolded before Jette's bewildered eyes. The once-gathered wolves, their fur reflecting the silver luminescence, began to undergo a metamorphosis. Shadows melded, and in a cascade of shimmering light, the wolves transformed into humans, their figures emerging from the darkness like ephemeral spirits.

Each wolf, with its sleek In the heart of the sanctuary, where the winds whispered secrets and the trees whispered tales, a formidable force emerged. Led by none other than the legendary alpha wolf, Arvandus, the wolf military stood tall and proud, their presence an indomitable shield against any threat that dared to encroach upon their sacred land. Arvandus, with his piercing amber eyes that held the wisdom of countless moons, commanded his loyal pack with an unwavering authority.

“She even attracts a mythical wolf. This one is an Eclipser. The last of its kind was recorded a millennium ago.” He shook his head slowly, struggling to make sense of it. “No ordinary person could ever draw such a creature to their side. Yet here she is, clinging to it as if they were bound by fate.” The wolf, sensing his scrutiny, lifted its head and met Uriel’s gaze with eyes like twin eclipsed moons. There was no fear in them, only silent defiance—as if warning him not to come any closer. “Seriously—an Eclipser wolf and a mage who can wield water, fire, and earth? Just who are you truly, Althea?” Uriel muttered with a frown.

My legs begin to tremble under the weight of my fear. “Don't move,” A voice whispers from behind me. I want to respond that I couldn't move even if I wanted to, but words fail me. I hear a whoosh behind me and then a huge dog appears at my side, growling aggressively back at the predator lurking in the shadows. The dog moves to stand in front of me protectively, its thick black coat shining in the moonlight. It edges forward, snarling and snapping its jaws. Then I see it, bright blue eyes emerge from the shadows. Coming out to challenge my protector. It's at this moment that I realise these are not just big dogs, they're freaking wolves! Why are there wolves here? My mind goes back to the bo

“That’s part of it. But there’s more to it than that. Let’s just say we have a history. I am sorry they spoiled your mood. I really had no idea they were invited by my father.” I nodded, deciding not to push further. He changed the subject, his tone lighter. “So, what do you know about wolf types?” “Not much,” I admitted. “Just the basics.” “Did you know there are rare types of wolves?” he asked, his eyes glinting with interest. “Rare?” “Yeah. Like white wolves,” he said. “They’re called vortex wolves. They’re incredibly powerful and said to be reincarnations of the moon goddess herself.”

Every day seemed bigger than the last. Everyone was in their wolf form today. Miriam and I stood opposite, with beautiful giant wolves on each side. My father’s salt and pepper wolf was the largest. Magnus and Ghost’s black wolves were just as muscular but less bulky. Diesel’s brown wolf was the smallest but the most spry. “Using your powers, I want you to neutralize the situation without causing harm to each wolf,” Miriam’s voice cut through the tense air, setting the stage for a challenging training session.

He whispered to me. Beta Leo walked in. He closed and locked the door. "Shall we begin?" Alpha Zev and Luna Maisie directed everyone to form a loose circle around me. Beta Leo opened a massive book and began reading. "From time immemorial, our people have welcomed our new wolves with a ceremony to recognize our pack connection and strength. The Moon Goddess gifts us our wolves. We are stronger, faster and smarter when we work with our wolves. We honor the Goddess by accepting our wolves and allowing them to take our physical form and make it their own. We each must learn to respect our wolves, and our wolves must learn to respect us."

Eclipse shouted in my mind. I wish there was a volume button to lower her tone in my head. "Or he just got hit by Karma in advance." "Oh! Shut up. He took the blow for you.
