Mythic Bird Novels & Stories

He vividly remembered that the moment he had just entered this heaven and earth, he saw a giant golden bird swoop down in the sky and instantly grab the ancient dinosaur-like giant beast. That was the one in front of him. Alex didn't expect to see it again this time. At that time, there was a feeling that his head was going to explode. Mystic Maiden moved with great speed and immediately unfolded her divine ability to open the hidden boundary, wrapping around everyone and the Immortal Bird, trying to avoid the giant golden eagle. However, the Immortal Bird, which was in extreme motion, obviously could not hide its whereabouts and was locked. "Goo, goo..."

This could be the largest flying animal she would ever see in her two lifetimes, with the wingspan almost 2 metres wide and long enough to make a small tornado wind. It stands tall and looks mighty with a long and narrowed beak, it has feathers red as human blood, and those slit-red eyes make it more mystical. If you take a look, you will be sucked into its beauty. If Sol Ming is seeing it at this moment, she will comment on why this bird has similarities to their mythical bird known as the phoenix. However, this is not the phoenix of their world, but only a king of the forest of this place where even Yuya was afraid to catch.

"We cannot allow it to bring chaos to our kingdom any longer." As Nathan read on, he discovered that the bird was created by the ancient earthlings, who were known for their powerful magic and control over the elements. According to the book, the bird was called "Aurorix", and was feared by many for its ability to devour the souls of humans. Nathan's mind raced as he read on, taking in the details of the bird's powers and weaknesses. He knew that he needed to find a way to stop it before it caused more harm in the kingdom.

Its body was blue with red speckles, its beak white and its crest flaming crimson like blood. "Haha, Bi Fang! It's really a Bi Fang. Haha, the Demon Clan wants this Bi Fang dead. No wonder they're willing to use the Power of the Origin to set up a rain formation. Haha, Little Chap Ding, hide yourself well. We'll profit from this later." When Uncle Tianshu saw the strange bird, he grinned from ear to ear. Bi Fang? Ding Hao was shocked. The Bi Fang was one of the 36 divine mythic creatures of the Archean Big Dipper. All the ferocious creatures in the top 10 lived by eating fire. They dwelled in forests and were extremely powerful.

“Uhh… Then let’s wait for the one that’s coming here. If we can’t take good picture of it, you take me to the nearest one.” They waited for around two minutes before Harris nudged Jai from the side. They hide behind a bush and a single bird beast appeared in their view. “That bird is familiar…” Jai whispered. “That’s a Wamutori.” Harris said. “It’s usually hunted for its juicy meat. Almost like the Zuu bird beast. This one’s wild though.” Jai pulled out the Picturesk. “Let’s take it as one of the weaker ones then.” “Oh Wamutori is breed. There’s a farm for it in the north part of the kingdom.”

“Deactivate the Prisoner Sigil, and I could get us there in minutes.” Her blue eyes narrowed. “That’s the last thing I’d ever do.” She sat down beside the eagle. “We wait until my eagle wakes up.” He dropped onto the parched earth and watched Araheen turn her dagger between her fingers as if admiring its craftsmanship. “Is that a phoenix?” he asked, raising one knee and resting his arm across it. “Yes.” “Humans built a myth around her.” He picked up a few small stones from the cracked ground, turning one idly between his fingers. “A red bird that burned and rose again from its own ashes.”

To be honest it was a sight to behold. "It is a Phoenix. The bird is called Phoenix and according to the books. I read it is believed to guide someone of great strength and destiny to accomplish their purpose. It is believed that anyone whom it follows becomes a legend," I said with a smile. For the first time, I felt like I knew something he didn’t. "Your life must have been boring for you to memorize such a useless belief. This is the twenty-first century. Those things are mere superstitions," Noah said and I felt my bubble of joy deflate.

The image confirmed my suspicions. Over the past few days, I had been searching through the library for answers. Ancient texts described the existence of the Mystical Peacock, a bird with black feathers that shimmered with all the colors of the rainbow under the sunlight. The texts also stated that when a Mystical Peacock consumed the child-bearing potion, it would lay a white egg that would hatch into a Purple Peacock. I realized then—I was never a Black Peacock at all. I was the legendary Mystical Peacock.

While the others landed on the ground. “The bird on your shoulder is a Tigmamanukan bird,” Amansinaya explained. I looked at the bird, with its shining eyes that have the same shade from the green particles glowing from its black wings. Its slate blue body perfectly fits the color of its wings. I looked at the other birds on the ground; they were now playing with Orlene. “It is the same species of bird that was ordered by Bathala to crack the bamboo, where Malakas and Maganda could be found.” She continued. I have some knowledge about that myth, but I didn’t know that it would exist in this world!

He lowered down so that I could climb onto his back. “Hang on tight baby.” Brax said, as he positioned himself at the edge of the cliff side. He’s waiting on me to give him the go ahead before he drops from the cliff. “Okay, I'm ready.” I said, bracing myself for the plunge. Stepping forward, Brax dropped from the edge of the cliff side. The lack of control that I had at this moment caused my heart to leap into my throat. Brax wasn’t in a hurry to open his wings, and I know that I could never get used to this rush. I clung to Brax as we passed through the white clouds, revealing the beautiful landscape below. Brax flew low so that we were only a few feet above the ground. We passed over all
