The Rejected Luna

The Rejected Luna

“I told you that.” Negan groaned in frustration. He started breaking everything in his office, from the lamp on the table to the glasses on the shelf. The papers went flying. The desk was turned over along with the chair. She stood rooted to the spot but she was afraid. A pen had hit her forehead but she didn’t react. She didn’t know how to. He started screaming and his scream became a howl. He had shifted. Rae stood back then. He was growling at her and he looked like he was going to lunge.

PAINT ME NAKED

PAINT ME NAKED

It wasn’t that hard, he only used three sets of colors: one for the skin tone, black for her eyes and outlines, and brown for her hair and shadows. He glanced at Caty again. She was still on the bed, looking serious, her eyes locked onto his. She had shifted positions slightly, but her face remained focused. “Do you wanna see it?” he asked, smiling. She didn’t answer. Instead, she changed position again, this time lying on her stomach with her head resting on her arms, but her eyes still watching him. “You know, Nelly and I went to the clinic earlier this morning.” He froze mid-motion as he was about to add shadows to the painting. “What were you doing there? Are you sick? Or is Nelly?”

Alpha's Rebellious Luna

Alpha's Rebellious Luna

Instead of arguing, I approached the stand and unveiled what lay beneath the cloth—a painting. The three wolves' reactions were immediate and distinct. My father's eyes narrowed in assessment, Derek's widened in appreciation, and Bernard simply looked confused. The painting was extraordinary—a Fenrir-like creature with massive wings, executed in traditional Northern Territory ink style. The beast seemed to leap from the canvas, its green-gold eyes burning with life and power. "Northern Territory ink art—mythical beasts from ancient wolf legends," I explained, watching their reactions carefully. "This is my exploratory business idea."

he told her. "Really? It might be their batch. Where is it?" Sage crossed his hands to his back, "I told Rae to visit the neighbourhood pack." "Okay, good. What does it look like?" Aurora asked as she walked after Sage who had turned to leave. "It's designed with the colour red and black with a portrayal of an eagle inscribed on it," he relayed and Aurora tried to think if she had seen something like that. "I'm sure we'll find them soon and I don't think they are from Autumn pack."

Married to a stripper (BlackBook 1)

Married to a stripper (BlackBook 1)

Zaph squinted her eyes causing the piece of art to spank her senses of recognition. Yes. Yes, that's right. It was an artwork by Patrick Nagel in 1983. It all paved her path to clarity, from the awful uniforms to the décor and now the antiquities; The mansion was a generational heritage, meaning each and every item in it was bundled up in memories. "Bring it forth." She carefully walked to the awry table still searching for a convenient spot to drop the coffee. Once that was settled with, she rotated to begin her journey to the door. "Where to?"

The Cruel Heirless Alpha

The Cruel Heirless Alpha

I smiled at his grave and then took my cigarette back in my mouth. Standing straight from my squat position, I gave the old man’s grave another look before walking out of the Royal cemetery. Nathan, my Beta was waiting for me by the car, he was bent over drawing something that he would never let me see. Nathan was a good artiste, he had been good since his high school days and he always showed off his painting, but recently, he never lets anyone - not even me- see them; the ones he draws in this golden book. “When are you gonna let me see your new drawing?” I asked, slapping his back, and as predicted, he hid the book from me again.

The Price Of Us

“Don’t mind the spoon. It’s Nathan’s latest art project. He calls it Spoon Where It Shouldn’t Be. Very avant-garde.” Nathan sneezed violently on her sleeve. “Gesundheit,” I said, snagging a mug from the drying rack. “I love mornings with him,” she said. “He’s like a tiny drunk philosopher. He tried to eat a coaster and cried when I told him it wasn’t a pancake.” I grinned, watching them together. Teresa’s presence in the house had lifted something invisible off Anna’s shoulders. She could breathe again. We both could. Later that afternoon, I found Anna in the backyard with a paintbrush tucked behind one ear, dabbing soft greens onto a canvas that looked like it had been kissed by a meadow.

Man's Best Wingman

Man's Best Wingman

My thoughts about this development got pushed aside as I looked at the art above the fireplace. We can circle back to the fact that he’s staying in a penthouse with super high-tech security with a fucking fireplace. I’m more focused on the very bold, yes that’s a good word for it, art hanging in such a prominent place. It was a long vertical framed print of a very naked tattooed man hanging upside down from a curved branch, ropes intricately wrapped around him and a gag over his mouth. I’m not sure what the Japanese characters say, but I saw the artist’s name, Felix d’Eon. It was very erotic and made me look at Clay contemplating if this was his cousin’s art or his.

Is that really how the book ends? It's a really good book but to end it that way... Especially with the trauma the two main characters seperately endured... Feels wrong to deprive the reader from getting to have that HEA with the characters.

Another wonderful book!! I have laughed so hard it hurts and this is not just a nod to romance, But Life getting in the way and our animals fully taking over and inserting themselves when we aren't brave enough to do it ourselves. Absolutely brilliant!!!

Seraphim: Supernatural Bad Boys II

Seraphim: Supernatural Bad Boys II

Unlike the girl, he’s wearing black leather pants and is bare-chested. Nevaeh moves close to the painting, then gives me an appraising stare. But before she can say anything, an older woman steps forward. “It’s quite beautiful, isn’t it? It’s called “Supernatural Heart,” the artist captures a pure love very vividly.” Taking a step back, I try to create some distance between the picture and me, but the woman continues. “Cassia Garron is a wonderful artist. This is one of her darkest portraits. You should see some of her other work. She’s quite talented.” Nevaeh gapes. She’s definitely making the correlation between me and the painting.
