It gave her time to think. She didn’t head straight to the infirmary but meandered the hallways. The place seemed to have changed since Nathaniel had been in charge. Shifters, vampires, and wiccans wandered around, all in the same black uniforms that consisted of combat boots, cargo slacks and shirt. There were some variations such as a few agents wearing clothes meant for the frosty outdoors but, it was the same outfit. It was the outfit of soldiers.

I said, I picked up the trail of the mysterious person moving about suspiciously in the dark. The person was clothed in a black attire from head to feet with something like a hoodie covering his or her hair. Suddenly, the person stopped behind a building and I squinted hard to make sure my eyes were not mistaking. The person took off the hoodie and I saw her face very clearly, it was Wendy!

He didn’t see anything wrong with it. And Keagan couldn’t point out what was wrong either; thus, he dropped the topic. Inside the car, he gave her a hoodie. “Wear this when we are outside.” The hoodie was black, and Nessa noticed it matched the ones worn by the other warriors who accompanied them. It seemed that Keagan wanted to help her blend in with the group so she wouldn’t stand out as an easy target. But then, it was nothing but a small distraction because her physique was different from those bulky shifters.

HENRY'S POV After that first night of seeing her bathe, she only ever wears one large hoodie, it wasn't horrible, but while other girls didn't shy away from tossing their shirts when it gets really hot and hike in just bras or loose shirts, she would be in a hoodie. Now I understand its more than being just conscious, she was hiding something under all that fabric. Without warning, I tore the sleeve off the shirt revealing a bandaged arm, that was now bleeding out.
