Nine Moons 소설 & 이야기

She left, nearly running from the hall, and the heavy doors closed behind her with a resonant thud. The pack members remained frozen, uncertain whether to speak or move. I turned back to Cain. “The reports.” He cleared his throat, his professional mask sliding back into place, and slid a map across the table. “Seven rogue sightings in the past week. All near the eastern border. We tracked them back to a camp about five miles into the Wildlands.” “How many?” “Nine confirmed. Possibly more.” I studied the map, forcing myself to focus. “Increase patrols along the eastern border. I want scouts out every night. If there are more rogues, I want to know about it before they get any closer.”

Aele says to the attendant. "Mother Aele, I honestly feel like the best way to find out when and how the Moon was stolen would be to speak to the guards who stood watch over the moon for the past 14 days." He says wisely. "Why 14 days though?" Another attendant asks. "I.. I.. say 14 days… be… because it takes 14 days for the moon goddess to go into a coma if anything happens to the moon." The attendant stutters shyly. "He is quite right, Mother Aele! According to the Book of the Moonicles, the moon goddess shall fall into a deep, unnatural sleep if the moon is absent for the space of 14 days." Darlene supports directly.

“The bit about ‘thrice-blooded moons’—that’s oddly specific, and connects to what Selene said about ‘much still to be written.’” Nico cleared his throat softly. “If I may, My Queen—the phrase ‘thrice-blooded moons’ is likely a reference to the upcoming lunar trinity. Three full moons that will appear red due to atmospheric conditions, occurring in sequence over the next three months. The first is just two weeks away.” My blood chilled at his words. Not some distant, metaphorical timeline then—a concrete deadline, approaching rapidly. “So they’re setting the stage,” I said, thinking aloud. “Creating a timeline for whatever they’ve planned.”

he said lowly. The mond is glowing brightly. It's an ornament with a moonstone in the center. The gold strap of the bracelet was glowing because of the seven stars scattered on it, and what is more amusing is that every star on the strap is an incredible spirit. They are the celestial sisters of the Pleiades. Their level of existence and power are second to the Moon Goddess.

“We don't have much time, alpha.” Mere minutes later, the man rushes back to my side and echoes. “Alpha, the moons are complete. The five moons are out!!” An ear-splitting roar that builds from the recesses of my heart spills from my lips. “Grrrrrrrr!!!” It sounds so strange. So aggressive. So dark. But it's coming from me. “Rain!!” Logan's voice. “Ryat help me, let's carry her!” He tells the healer.

His voice trembled. “There were seven hundred and thirteen.” Orion suddenly screamed. His silver eyes turned black. “I told you.” The End began speaking through him. “Seven hundred and thirteen endings.” The little girl grabbed Orion’s hand. “Brother…” Orion looked at her. Tears streamed down his face. “They’re all waking up.” Lucian pulled Amara close. “What’s waking up?” Orion slowly looked toward the sky. “The versions of us…” His voice broke. “…that never chose love.” And one by one— seven hundred and thirteen Blood Moons appeared.

Ahri replied. "So, how are we going to find the bracelet? This is our last life and we should find it before the next full moon of this year. The New Moon today has an illumination of 0%. This is the percentage of the Moon illuminated by the Sun. The illumination is constantly changing and can vary up to 10% a day. On March 22 the Moon is 0.36 days old. This refers to how many days it has been since the last New Moon. It takes 29.53 days for the Moon to orbit the Earth and go through the lunar cycle of all 8 Moon phases," Ahri voiced out her thoughts.

I lay there for what felt like a significant portion of the night and watched the glow of my orb on the ceiling and thought about the sovereign's face and the warmth in my chest and the twelve hundred questions I had about the citadel that nobody had answered yet. Eventually, I got up. The corridor at night was something else. All twelve moons were up, I had not known, until tonight, that this was possible, that a sky could hold that many and still look like a sky rather than a collision, visible through the floor-to-ceiling crystal panels that ran the length of the outer wall. Some of them were near enough to show surface detail, enormous and luminous, hanging in the dark above the capital

Arlo stood tall, his expression one of fierce resolve as he addressed the crowd. “Lune has faced unimaginable trials, yet she has emerged not just as my mate but as the true Luna of this pack,” he declared, his voice echoing through the hall. “She has shown strength, compassion, and resilience. I will not stand by while anyone questions her place here. She belongs with us, and we must accept her as our Luna.”

She is a Rogue and not eligible for anything. When he proposed his idea Alex was the first one to oppose knowing that the members of the packhouse would go against that. No one would accept a Rogue as their Alpha's mate or Luna. A Luna must be someone who would be chosen by Moon Goddess. But Leonard cleared his point too. When he had captured Iris he planned to torture her to an extent that even death would be scared to touch her. But he had never thought to see the mark on her. Even though he was the Alpha maintaining a peace treaty with other packs, he knew very clearly that anyone who would get a chance to rule over the territory won't stop from claiming such power.
