Novel Pay Rent 소설 & 이야기

We wouldn’t be homeless! “I need to go,” I explained as I began to get dressed. “I need to go pay my rent. It’s due and I have to get it paid before our landlord kicks us to the curb.” Preston sat in bed, watching me with an amused look. “I need to pay you first.” I froze buttoning my shorts. “Right. I can’t pay it without that.” I laughed lightly at my own stupidity as he rose naked from the bed and walked over to his pants to grab his wallet.

I said and she smile at me and said, “You need to pay one month deposit and two months advance, all in all, it would be P7,500” “I will give you the payment later, I will just sort my things out,” I said and she nodded. “Okay, I am just next door if you need me, we are neighbors,” She said and left. I am renting the second apartment on the second floor. I don’t know how many tenets were renting right now but I know I need to do a big adjustment in my life. I looked at the three bags that I have and started sorting my things. The good thing is there’s a mini cabinet that was left by the previous renter. I put our bags there and I took a blanket and put it on the floor in the mini bedroom so t

I wonder what kind of job that he has that can make him count money so accurately? He drank the coffee and handed me money, I decline it “No it’s fine, as long as you pay your rent the coffee is in the house” Paying rent for my grandma is not cheap especially she told me that Alex is willing to pay for the 1000-acre land with only rent money of 8 million every month, so where the heck does he get 8 million and why didn’t he just buy his own land with that much money he makes every month?

She looked at me for a while before guffawing, "Oh? But you can live freely in my home without giving rent?" Her derision left me tongue-tied. I looked away, feeling ashamed as indeed I hadn't paid my rent for the last month too. I had planned on giving Ella double payment this month as I had used the money to buy a new laptop for me to which she agreed. Who knew I would turn jobless and penniless? Now I am so helpless that I can’t even say a word in my defense. I failed to keep my word. What more can be embarrassing than this?

Then, he walked off without a word. She couldn't help but look at him surprisingly. The man didn't say anything, he just focused on preparing his dinner. By that moment, she realized he had left a green card at the bar. “What does this mean?” Rebecca asked the man. “I don't understand.” “Your rent had been paid," replied the man without looking at her. “When I came, I paid three years of rent at once.” Without any more explanations, he continued his task in the kitchen carelessly. “You can check it out on the bank app in your cell phone, the password is 6600.”

I spat. Nova veered back. "No need to be nasty." I wanted to scream. "All of my stuff is outside. Destroyed!" I fisted my hair, barely holding on. I took a deep breath. But I didn't think I could push it down anymore. "Give me my money. It was for rent. I want it back." "I don't have it. I paid out of the lease and used it for a down payment on my new apartment with Deacon." My jaw ticked and Nova added on, "What? You told me you'd handle rent."

“I can’t even pay half of here so you pay half.” I almost laughed at how seriously she was taking this. “Whoa! Who said anything about the rent?” She was getting it wrong, and I had to set it straight before she shut me out completely. “I already paid for it, and honestly, I could afford to buy the whole place if I needed to. Look—” I leaned a little closer, softening my tone. “You know I’m new to the city, alright? I’m the star player, sure, but I’m also just… a guy. It gets lonely sometimes.”

We'll move out as soon as we find a cheaper place to rent! "We really don't have any money left! I had to bring up both my kids on my own after my husband died. Life has been very hard on me. What am I to do if I don't even have a roof over my head anymore?" I got my bodyguard to start throwing out all of their belongings. And while Misty was getting all anxious about it, I grabbed her by the arm and said, "Misty, the company just issued a notice saying that you've received well over a million dollars in base salary and benefits over the past three years for nothing.

"Look, granted I pay you maybe twenty thousand more than the average p.a. whatever money you receive from me, you are to never use for your personal stuff. Consider me as your living bank account, I still give you money but save it and feed off me. So long as I live, you will never have to spend a dime of your own money." I shake my head no, continously. "No, no, no. If I accept this land, I pay you rent in return," I offer. He raises an eyebrow, "no. Instead—nevermind. Okay, you pay me rent every month," now it's my turn to raise an eyebrow.

He held my gaze a second longer, like he wanted to say more, but only said goodnight before ending the call. The next morning, I stepped out dressed for work and found Ruben and Nina standing right outside my door, both nicely dressed, her arm wrapped tightly around his. Ruben spoke first. “You need to pay for the plates you broke.” I pulled out my phone and transferred the money immediately. “And going forward, you’ll be paying rent.” I looked at him. “Are you serious?” “What did you expect?” he replied. “You don’t do your duties anymore. At least contribute something.”
