Even if they did not start their own company, they would be an esteem employee at their original company. "The Gold Quill Award is not possible; it requires a certain amount of experience to even qualify for nomination. However, for the Best Newcomer Award, one can be nominated as long as they have joined the industry within a year and have their own solo, outstanding public relations project, thus you can participate in the competition." George said, he looked at Anna, feeling a surge of pride. His girl was just that outstanding, which allowed him to help her. Otherwise, even if he wanted to help her, he would not know how to help her, right?

Martin started, “It’s an important announcement for Emily and Aiden…” I got restless and leaned forward on my desk to pay attention. “So… The Intrastate Essay Competition has announced it’s date…” He said. “Oh my god, what is it?” I asked him anxiously. “It’s going to be held on 29th December” Mr. Martin revealed. “Oh my god…” I said restlessly and then added, “That’s just…” “That’s just two weeks away, yes” Mr. Martin said and I got nervous thinking about it. “And that’s just two days before New Year’s Party…” Oliver said out loud. Mr. Martin glared at him and he stopped speaking.

I quickly scanned the papers—it was actually a solid idea. We were the ones to hold the workshop while they handled the contest afterward. The winners would have their work published by Arrow Publishing, with their names on it, and even a chance to be scouted as new writers. I looked at Lathan. “Have you seen this?” I asked. He shook his head. “I’m actually waiting for you. If you like it, I’ll sign it.” Kin and Enzo cleared their throats while Sierra covered her mouth to hide her laugh.

"Of course, I am. By the way Someone from Vicenzo Company called me because they can't seem to contact you." " I changed my phone and forgot to update them so what did they call for?" "Well, they were asking me when will you submit entry for the upcoming Novel Contest." "I haven't really thought about it, I still have 3 months before the contest. I'll tell them myself." "They also told me you can pre read some entries from the website, some already posted their novel entry. I think it will be better, you might come up with better plot if you'll learn from them"

I’ve set all of them aside to finish this biggest personal novel. Suddenly, I noticed a picture of Miss Yuki. She’s the young writer that I’m looking up to. I was only able to buy one of her novels but that was enough to inspire me into penning the talent that Gramps and I have. The tales I write basically comes from Grandpa’s supernatural ideas. I composed that story within two years, so my excitement was immeasurable. I was sure it'd be a hit. It’s due in three more days and I had to give it a compelling ending before I submit it to the publishing company that held the competition. If my manuscript wins… it’ll kickstart my writing career plus, I can use the prize money to buy the land wher

Ibukun glanced at her, wondering if she had just cried about Bolaji and her sudden drop in friends and admirers. “Yes, good,” he said, and turning to Ibukun, who shook her head no, he explained, “The Competition is in its maiden year. It’s for SS3 students only. It takes place in May, after your SSCE exams. For now, only schools from five states are open to competing; Lagos, Abia, Jos, Oyo and Rivers. The exam would also be purely oral.”

"Ah okay, just this one time, Mey." "Thank you!" I smiled. He gave me a brief nod and continued to explain our task, "At the end of the year, each of you shall complete a 30,000 words novella. We would make it a contest, and just like any competition, there shall be a winner. Our English teacher, Mr. Rodriguez, an editor from our local paper, and I would be the judge." Koltin seemed very interested. I watched him eagerly raise his hand before asking, "What do we get if we win?"
