His pale face, pale eyes, and pale hair combined with his white lab coat earned him his nickname. He had a clipboard in one hand and a cattle prod in the other. “Get up, number thirty-eight. Time for more treatments.”

His ancestors in the afterlife must be waiting to meet him in the near future. "I--I'm sorry, sir... this way, please," she said suddenly kindly. Her other co-workers looked at each other. They refused to get involved with the very famous god of death. "It seems that her death is near," said one of the senior nurses who just looked at her junior with a pity look.

He shot up from the chair and saw a nurse suddenly entering the room, her face pale like she’d seen a ghost. “Are you okay?” Marc asked, noticing how badly she was shaking. The nurse swallowed hard and nodded quickly. “Y-yes, sir. I’m fine.” “What happened just now? Why do you look so scared?” Marc asked. The nurse looked down, clearly hesitant or ashamed to tell him what she saw. “Please, help me understand. What exactly happened?” Marc urged her gently. “I saw someone I didn’t recognize leaving this room. And what really scared me was… I saw him hiding a pocketknife inside his jacket.”

It seems like Isabella and Kassidy didn't need him. A ghost suddenly floated in front of him and excitedly said, "Guess what I just saw? Her face paled. "Hey! What happened? Are you okay?" The nurse asked Evangeline. "P-please, take those blood away from here. These ghosts are coming towards me!" Evangeline panted, gesturing to the floor. The nurse frowned. She once looked at the floor and then at Evangeline. "But there's nothing on the floor. It's completely clean." Said the nurse. "No. You can't see. There's blood everywhere. The ghosts are staring at me, they are waving their hands at me." Evangeline cried.

The urgency in the ghosts' expressions suggested a warning of imminent danger. As the nurses tightened their grip, pressing him back toward the bed, Christian's thoughts raced. He needed to understand the full message, to piece together what the ghosts were trying so desperately to convey. Despite his physical frailty, his mind clung to the fragments of their warning, a lifeline in the midst of his bewildering reality.

She followed suit immediately. They finally arrived at one of the wards where the man was kept. The nurse left immediately to give her some privacy. She might claim that he was only just a taxi driver who drove her to her destination but the nurse knew he was more than that to her. Immediately the nurse left, silent tears began rolling down her cheeks as she looked at the unconscious man from the door. She began taking slow and careful steps until she was right at the foot of the bed he was laid upon. He was being covered with a white cloth. She went to the side and pulled it down from his face to his neck.
