Kristy’s POV After Axel leaves with Nova I’m seething from anger. How did that little bitch get so lucky I’ve put her down every chance I’ve got he’ll I was about banished from beating her and starving her while her dad was with the alpha for a week straight. She pulled away a little, and looked into my eyes. “What's it mama?” I asked, holding her waist. “Zoe,” she whispered. “I haven't seen her.” “I hope she prays that I don't find her.” I growled, imagining how I'd kill her. “That's why I'll go with you, and you will not kill her,” Nyx said, looking so innocent and tired. I tried absorbing her pain and there was still so much left after I had reached my limit. “Nyx, she betrayed you! Me!” I growled.
