I greeted her running a hand through my hair. My hair gets messed up easily and I have a braided ponytail on before sleeping. Holy crap! Suddenly I remembered that I was waiting for Mr Hyde before I slept off. "well that explains it" I mumble to myself. "You say what?" Hannah asked, lost. "nothing" I replied. "is Mr Hyde still around?" I asked her taking a sip out of the cup coffee. "He left over an hour ago," she replied. I thought as much. Hannah sits beside me while I eat the food.

I think I spent some time reading the book, and I almost forgot I was waiting for Gladimir to return. It was when I got to the second to the last chapter, I remembered that I was waiting for Gladmir. I glanced at my wristwatch, and I was shocked at how fast time had passed. It was about four hours already. ‘I had just spent four hours reading a book’ I frowned. I stared back at the book. When I was done with the book, I glanced at my wristwatch, I had already spent an extra hour. I ran out of patience, I couldn't wait for him any longer.

It was 6 p.m. already. I checked the time again, not because I was impatient, but because I liked knowing exactly when the trap was closing. Timing was everything. A minute too early and the prey sensed danger. A minute too late and the moment lost its edge. The other time, I was the one waiting for a meeting.

The leftovers were for the servants. Waste not right? Adrexa suddenly bursts into the kitchen, where I am patiently waiting for the outcome of my meal. "The Prince and Princess want to see you immediately!" Adrexa commands breathlessly. Shit. Adrexa quickly turns and scurries back down the corridor. I quickly follow her, but I feel incredibly fatigued from my day. The shock of my wondrous journey through time, landing me in ancient Troy, discovering I'm not dreaming, and spending the rest of the day cooking a meal using age-old techniques.

“Yeah. You’ll need this for your book anyway, right?” My breath caught between relief and emotion. “Thank you ” Liam smiled faintly, then looked at the book in my hands. “Let’s get lunch now.” I blinked quickly and checked the watch on my wrist. My eyes widened. “Oh my God it’s almost one.” I couldn’t believe how fast time had passed. It felt like I’d only entered the library ten minutes ago. Liam stepped closer, gathered the few books he was holding, and walked toward the counter. I followed behind him, carrying the beautiful-covered book, afraid that if I let go, it might disappear.

On it, someone had written with a childish scrawl: "Reconciliation Ticket." "You promised me, Shana, that no matter what I did wrong, you'd give me a chance when I showed this to you," he begged. "We've been by each other's side for 15 years, in love for eight years. Is everything so worthless to you that you can forget about it so easily?"

Moments later, she entered the lounge and handed me a coffee, saying, "Theo is being so inconsiderate!" She pretended to realize something and covered her mouth in mock surprise. "Oops! He said that I could call him that in private. You don't mind, do you, Charlotte?" I smiled and shook my head, sipping the warm coffee. She continued, "I should really scold him for making you wait this long. When he was late to meet me once, he even posted an apology on his social media, promising never to do it again!" She proudly showed me her phone with his post. The caption read, "I, Theodore Jenkins, apologize for being late and making my dearest assistant hungry. I promise it won't happen again."

Her best parts of the day were the moment Aiden popped the chocolates in his mouth like a greedy little baby, it made her chuckle. Also, watching at him while he finished up some business before their lunch came in had been a whole experience for her. She had never seen in while at work.
