Pushing the other books aside, Kiara opened up the book. On the very first page was an oath, and the rest of the pages were blank. She turned the book upside down and flipped through it again, and still the only thing in the entire book was the pledge at the very first page. She picked up one of the other books she tossed aside, she flipped through them and they all had words written on every single page. Biting a side of her bottom lip, she decided to read what she saw.

She placed it on the table and sat back on her sit. I picked up the book of accounts, my hands were wobbling but I tried to control it. I have never been in this kind of situation my while life. This is really stressing me out, and I couldn't wait for it all to be over.

"I am not disputing that; all I am saying is that this book that is tied with red linen might be sacred, and only the elders and Alphas are supposed to open it. I didn't understand the title considering the subject we were looking into.

The librarian spent the next ten minutes carefully examining the fallen shelf, the scattered books, and the damaged railing. Kael helped stack the books into neat piles. Several of them had fallen open to random pages, and as he collected them, one caught his eye. He picked it up. The title on the open page read: On The Nature of Probability Manipulation in Pre-Civilization Eryndor. Kael read the first paragraph.

The alarm clock in Noah's room goes off at exactly 6 in the morning. With his eyes not fully open, Noah got up and walked towards the front door.
