★★★ BLUE MOON PACK ★★★ Damon’s mother, Light, was basking in the peaceful moment as she watched over the pup. He was a sweet little boy, no more than three years old, his tiny body curled up in sleep, his breathing soft and rhythmic. Light’s once troubled eyes, now calmer and filled with a nurturing warmth, softened as she brushed a strand of hair from the pup’s forehead. This child, whom Damon had taken under his wing, had become a light in their lives—a reminder of innocence amidst the darkness they often faced.

The light gleamed off of the worn-down furniture and the porcelain dishes. Tamashi noticed that his brother’s eyes gleamed in the sunlight. He also had dark blue eyes, but unlike Tamashi, he had dirty blonde hair. Tamashi smiled. “Yeah, I promise. I’m Tamashi, and I always will be. I’m going to find a way to get out of this mess.” Yasa smiled in reply. “Alright, lil bro, I’ll remember that promise. His unsettled bangs are pushed back complimenting his sea rover-blue eyes and bristly eyebrows make Fafnir wonder why his good-looking master never gotten a fish in the sea. She let out her words as she chanted in an old language, that I didn't recognize. The temperature dropped suddenly when she put in the last ingredient, and the pot let out a bluish smoke. Then Arkael appeared from the mist and walk to Shani, he let his hand out to her while she looked at him. It lasted seconds, then she was back to her usual self.

The envoy from the Sunlit pack arrived a week later, the envoy consisted of seven men and five women with the Alpha included. The Alpha George was a tall huge chunk of a man with bluish black hair that brought attentions to his fiery eyes. He had an intimidating aura surrounding him that screamed for submission. The Alpha Lucien, his son Damien and a few emissaries were present to welcome them. Though of smaller built than George, Lucien was no less intimidating with his pale white skin, cold blue eyes and well-proportioned muscles.

The room grew colder. Ayame stood behind me, close enough that the warmth of her body reached my back. Her fingers brushed my sleeve, then caught the fabric when Orochi raised one pale hand. The water mirror trembled. “Do you remember how he failed you?” Orochi asked her. Ayame’s grip tightened. “I do not know you.” “You will.” Tsukiko swept her arm across the table. The three blue candles fell into the seawater. Flame and water struck each other with a sharp hiss.

A cold so complete that it burns--like the void itself. As I watch the last of the shadow creature fade, the darkness of the room seems less complete but it is still oppressive after my latest encounter. Walking across the room, I find the newly installed switch and flick it upwards. The room blossoms into blue light. The innkeeper, Samael, had me install these lights in the tavern after the False Queen offered free lights to any business willing to install them. At the center of each light is an all too familiar blue crystal, like the ones used to shadow walk by the moon drakes.
