Oscar said, a teasing edge in his voice.
I stared at him with the corner of my eyes, and rolled them playfully.
He was right. I was one to command the room whenever I walked in, especially when I was certain that those in the room never liked me. It was just... a confident strategy, something fun to pull off.
"Besides, you'd have to hold on with that thought of shoving a sword down his throat. You don't want to start another war with a very powerful clan," Oscar added.
I paused briefly as I stared at Oscar. He tilted his head, flicking his eyebrows in a manner that communicated he was right.
