"Are you sure you are not pregnant, I mean those are other symptoms," she retorted and I chuckled. "Oh come on. Because someone feels dizzy and felt a wave of nausea, it doesn't mean they are pregnant. I mean I am on birth control and I do not remember skipping a day so I doubt I'm pregnant," I said confidently.

For me to start showing so soon means that something might be wrong. Micah and my first encounter was 6th months ago. When everything quieted down and I was alone in my room the silence pressed in and my thoughts turned darker. I kept placing my hand on my stomach hoping to feel something but there was nothing. No flutter or evem kick. Just emptiness and fear curling slowly in my chest. I told myself it was too early and that stress could delay things but the worry never fully left.

We found out I was two months pregnant! “How can that be possible when I felt no symptoms of pregnancy?” “Sometimes the only symptom is the missed monthly cycle. Since you have an irregular cycle, you might not have realized it.
