"Who's the 'someone' that you are talking about?" Kasper looks at her for a couple of minutes. The guardian saw the different emotions in his dark red eyes. For the first time in his life, he was feeling anxious, he thinks that he doesn't know himself and could not control some of his actions since he meet her. "It's... It is the werewolf hunter. I think that she is my mate," Kasper responded in a low tone. The guardian was stunned because of what she heard. "What should I do guardian Kitsune?"

Abruptly his hands got twisted at an odd angle and he tried to fight the invisible force but failed. The guy was thrown in the air and the next thing his back hit the tree, his bones twisting painfully as that dead body fell on the floor. Hunter stumbled wincing in pain as one of the f*ckers was able to claw at his back taking advantage of his distraction. It could be Agatha, he thought. Hunter killed the f*cker who was on top of him and that was when his eyes fell on the flicker of caramel skin behind the trees far away from him.

This is the second part of the Trilogy, which focuses on Hunter. Who's Hunter? Hunter is the firstborn son of the infamous Beast, a hybrid of an Undead and a werewolf. The rightful heir of both the Pack and the Deads. But he doesn't want to take over the packs yet. He wants to meet his mate first. He has been watching his parents' relationship all his life and at the age of 25 he's desperately craving a mate of his own. He yearns for what his parents have.

His eyes looked relaxed, not anything like they were seconds ago when he looked at Collin. “You as well, Invisi-boy,” Callie dramatically bowed back. “Callie!” I shrieked. My face changed ten shades of red before settling in the deepest color of it. “Invisi-boy, huh?” he laughed. “It was that or Ghost Boy,” Callie replied matter-of-factly. “Are you a ghost, by the way?” “No,” Hunter smirked, “I’m an assassin.” “Knew it.” Callie nodded. “An assassin from an alien planet coming to scope out a new world to create a new colony on, right?”

“She’s a werewolf hunter. Jones hired her to come after you and the rest of the pack.” I stopped, looking at him with shock. “Really?” I started laughing. “She has no idea what she’s getting into, does she?” Earl shook his head. “I think we need to take this one seriously,” he said. “She’s the best out there. Took out Danny Elliot yesterday.” I was impressed. Danny Elliot was a bad wolf who took great pleasure in stealing as much money from humans as he could. There were rumors he would torture them a little if they were reluctant to “invest” in him.
