Seeing what the six Protectors had done to Earth, the Protector made it her mission to go to earth and cleanse the planet from all its evil, even the evil the demoted protectors had brought with them. But it was not all in her favour as she died while battling with the first Protector, The King of Summer. If the Phoenix dies then every five hundred Years it reincarnated till it fulfils its mission here on earth which was to get rid of the Protectors. She exclaimed with excitement as I gave her a toothy grin. Gesturing toward the individuals on the ground I shook my head and told her that I didn't want anyone worshipping me. “The Moon Goddess is our deity,” I asserted firmly and the woman smiled widely before clapping her hands and telling everyone to back off. Wisdom then quickly poked my skin with a pin and tasted my blood while I said, “Ouch.” I eyed her incredulously when she glanced back at me with a confused scowl. “You have Phoenix blood and yet are also the Sacred Shewolf. This is very confusing since you are both unique creatures combined into one,” she said breathlessly before she lowered herself in front of me.

But tonight, it was ours alone. Inside, the air was still, carrying the faint scent of fresh wood and promise. I closed the door behind us, shutting out the world. My cut hung heavy on my shoulders, but when I looked at her, it was like the weight lifted. “Kat,” I said, my voice rough, the name tasting like home. “Tonight, it’s just you and me.
