Ivy stepped off the bus in a desolate border town, the wind whipping the oversized hoodie against her frame. She walked toward an abandoned farmhouse, the coordinates on her phone pulsing like a beacon. Her skin felt like it was on fire. The "Poison" was demanding a price she didn't know how to pay. She reached the door, her hand hovering over the rotted wood. “The key is in the blood.” She pulled the shard of glass she had kept from the laundromat and pressed it into her palm. As the red began to flow, the burner phone chimed with a final, chilling message.

I asked as I shifted to her slightly, narrowing my brows. She scoffed. "Mind your business.” “What was that?” I ask again, trailing my gaze to her clutched hand. “It’s none of your—" I lunged forward and grabbed her wrist. Prying her fingers open as she struggled. A tiny glass bottle slipped out of her hands and clinked against the cave floor. I bent and picked it up and gasped. “Poison ivy,” I peered at her. "This is poison ivy.” Morgana blinked, stunned. “That’s impossible. Poison Ivy was destroyed a thousand years ago.”

His heart started to beat a little faster but unknown to him it was actually a ploy. Ivy leaned closer to him while she thought of some crazy things in her mind. ‘sorry handsome but I have to do this *sigh* what if I have been genetically mutated by a bunch of evil scientists who want to use me as a bioweapon to destroy continents, what if this is a village of human bioweapons, if that is so I have to be extra careful’. As she leaned closer to him she prepared to strike him in the neck then she felt a sudden drowsiness.

"Vivienne. Spare me the performances. Don't think sending gifts through Ivy means I'll forgive what you did. Seeing you stoop to this just makes me sick." He turned back to Ivy without another word. The bonfire burned higher as the night wore on. Then, without warning, Ivy let out a sharp, agonized cry. "What's wrong?" Kael went pale and caught her against him. Ivy raised one trembling finger toward me. "It was... it was Vivienne. She gave me a drink earlier... it had ice-bee venom in it. Vivienne, I understand you're jealous because Kael loves me, but why would you do this to my face—"

Right on time and with a big, dramatic entrance. "Oh, yeah," Ivy breaths out a chuckle. Now I know this has a happy ending, "I heard Ash panicking in bed and when one of the guys told him to shut the fuck up, I snapped. I don't know how I did it, but from one second to the other... they were on fire. Three men. And the fire was coming from me, it listened to me, like an entity connected to me in a way. The guys started freaking out and running in circles in my tiny little bedroom, setting everything on fire. I though that was it for me and Ash too, there was no way out and the only place without fire was the bed, so I just... jumped there, held onto my son and told him I loved him a million

“Took a fall while gathering herbs. There’s a ball in two days I need to attend. I’ll be needing some poison ivy vine—enough to bring the swelling down quickly.” He was already moving, rummaging through the crates behind his stall with a haste that sent dried herbs scattering. “Poison ivy vine, poison ivy vine… I know I have it here somewhere… Ah!” He emerged triumphantly, a small bundle wrapped in brown paper clutched in his hands. “Here we are. Freshly dried, potent as they come.” He pressed it into my hands, but when I reached for my coin purse, he waved me off with an impatient gesture.

I looked around, only to see a pile of dead deer with fresh blood all over its place. “Oh, my God,” I whispered while I felt my heartbeat getting faster. I ran and as soon as I got into Lizzy’s place, I aggressively knocked on the door. “Hey, easy on the door, Ivy—” “I saw something. I saw dead animals, Lizzy,” I told her, catching my breath out of my nervousness. “What? Where?” Lizzy asked. “Right…” The pile disappeared from where I saw it, a minute ago. “…there.” I pointed out the place.

The guys had set up the projector so that the movie was playing onto a large white sheet. I was seated on the patio couch beside Ryan while Alec hung out in an arm chair to my left. The blue and orange flames danced wildly across the glass stones as the wind began to pick up around us.

Ivy finished her popcorn before any of us did and I wanted to give her mine but Drake also thought the same. Just as I brought mine forward, he and our hands collided. Our gazes met and a spark shot through my spine. 'Fuck!!' I screamed mentally but kept my cool. I caught myself and removed my hand first. "You can have mine, Ivy." Drake laughed dryly. "Thank you, Uncle Drake." She replied as she filled her mouth with a handful of the snack. Oblivious of what happened. The movie finished in no time and it was time to go but there was a slight problem--Ivy fell asleep halfway through the movie.

ON THE Way to class, Stephanie's phone beeps and she brings it out of the pocket of her jeans to check it. Just then, she bumps into someone but luckily for her, her phone doesn't leave her grip. She looks up to see the person she bumped into, only to find a very furious-looking Ivy glaring at her. "You bitch! Are you blind or something?" Ivy yells. Poison Ivy. "I'm so...." "Shut that trap you call a mouth," Ivy yells again.
