As Muna closed her eyes, the lilies in the grove flared with a sudden, blinding brilliance. For a heartbeat, the air was filled with a "Ghost Shift": a projection of a massive, snowy white wolf and a silver Alpha King running through the trees. The resonance hit the pup like a physical wave of warmth, and Muna shifted instantly, her fur a beautiful, slate grey shot through with amethyst sparks.

"Focus, Lily!" I did, but I couldn’t ignore the sensation in the pit of my stomach. Something was coming. Something powerful. Suddenly, the earth beneath us split open, sending shockwaves through the air. The ground buckled, and before I could react, a figure emerged from the dark chasm, a massive, monstrous form with eyes glowing an unnatural blue. "Shifter," Alex growled, his eyes narrowing as he shifted into his wolf form. I followed suit; my transformation was painful but necessary. My bones cracked, my senses heightened, and my wolf surged forward, ready to face whatever danger was before us.

Eric looked away rubbing his face, “Yes Tamara.” The female, Tamara, smiled a sickly sweet grin. “Well now that you’re taken I need a new pet to please me.” She stroked Eric's arm once more pouting, “What about the shifter? I’m sure he would do nicely.” Justin flinched and Eric glared at her, “The shifter is no longer with us. I will not serve you in my own kingdom. Leave.” Again, that shifter individual was mentioned... I have never met a shifter they are one of the most powerful creatures. They have the ability to turn into anything, or anyone. I wonder what happened and why nobody wishes to speak of him?

She muttered. "You're a shifter?" I asked surprised as I knew my senses were surpressed by the wolfsbane but she didn't have a scent of any shifter I had ever met before and I had met bear shifters, cat and panter shifters and she didn't share any scent markers with them. "Yes. I'm a bird shifter, a dove shifter, in fact." she replied with a bitter smile. "But I guess the term as delicate as a bird rings true. I don't please him, I'm not what he wants."

For a hybrid, it was rare to shift and if they eventually do, it can be very painful and it’s unlikely that the shifter will survive a shift without help from their mate or a loved one. I laugh as I keep walking. "That's where you're wrong. You are here because I need you. I'm not going to play with you. I'm going to take all of your blood and mix it with the blood of all the other shifters here. Once I have the blood from everyone, I have a special potion to combine it and create a super shifter. It will be the first of its kind," I explain as they all look at me in horror. "What do you mean by a super shifter?" Sydney asks me. I have a soft spot for her after watching her kill Doug, so I'll kill her last.

The shape shifter said as he tried to force his way into the barrier but it shocked him and he smirked. I watched as he transformed to something bigger, a tar looking beast in the form of a monster from Scooby doo monster Inc. movie. I struggled to keep the barrier up because I had to protect Sky. I wasn’t experienced in battle but I wasn’t going to let him take Sky. I breathed softly and bit my hand allowing my blood to spell on the ground as I manipulated the time of the shape shifter to be slower than the real world as I chanted a sealing spell.
